We were greeted by Mustafa, whose cheerful attitude and English were perfect. The rest of the staff were lovely too! As people said, the reception looks a little outdated, but I am not sure why that matters. The room was perfectly clean and the bathroom was very recently renovated (yes, it is a wet room but with the heating in the room it dries within 30 minutes). A mini fridge is in the room so it is a plus! The room was quiet, clean, warm with great mattresses and bedding. The hotel is a gem for the location, the service you get and the price! The chair for the desk was threadbare and uncomfortable for longer than 5mins. The room was small but I didn't need anything bigger for just me. The bed was comfortable - I had a great night's sleep! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room isn’t so inviting when you arrive at night as the lighting is very low too. The cobwebs up by the curtain rail were off putting also. However, this is my second stay here, and I must say that in regards to cleanliness of the linen, bed, bathroom, the hotel does really well. I did notice a faint odour of cigarettes this time though which was disappointing. The gentleman on reception was extremely welcoming and pleasant, which is rare these days, so a big shout out to him. In terms of price and location it’s great.
