However, the door lock seemed like it was about to come loose, and it was difficult to tell if it was locked or not, which was very inconvenient. The shower water temperature was relatively stable and the bathroom was clean and there were no problems. Breakfast was an additional charge and was served at a different hotel. I didn't use it, but there were free snacks available in the morning in the lounge next to the reception. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the center of Munich, but the area around the hotel didn't seem very safe, so I made sure to return to the hotel early. There is a 12 Euro daily fee for parking. The garage is actually a block and a half away and is called HBF Sud. You get a ticket, park, and then the hotel checks it to get that daily fee. 2nd - there is not a free breakfast. That costs 9 euro. Other than that, the hotel is excellent for the location. The rooms were quite small but perfectly clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities were perfectly adequate. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a busy road and was very noisy into the early hours. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of construction around the area, but that seems to be fairly typical of the larger cities. There was quite a bit of street noise and the curtains did not block much light which made it a bit difficult to get a restful night’s sleep, but the location was perfect for our needs and the staff members were very helpful.
