We were on the fifth floor. The room was large. The small kitchenette was a nice to have, even thought we didn't use it. Room was clean, and the pull-out bed (we were three) was very comfortable. The downside is there is no formal reception area. Entry is managed with key codes for the building and the room. We would have liked to hear their local dining recommendations. We also wanted to check in an hour early, but did not receive a response to our email prior and did not locate a reception desk. The signage for the reception desk is on the first floor on the stairs. Walking distance to most of the major sites and museums. Kitchenette was well stocked. The room was very clean. The building was safe and had an elevator. It was a little stressful at first, but it got solved in like 10-15 minutes. Also, I think it’s cuz of my email so not even their fault. Secondly, the bidet was half broken. Water came out, but not at the right “angle” haha. It was a great place! The shower leaked so badly it flooded the entire bathroom — we had to use every towel just to soak up the water. Clearly, there have been patchwork repairs rather than fixing the problem properly. On top of that, doors were slamming throughout the night and the noise from rowdy guests made it nearly impossible to sleep. However, the hotel is located in a very loud area, and we could hear people and trams all night even with the windows closed. It was already hot in the room, so I imagine it would be very stuffy in the summer, especially if you have to keep the windows closed to try and muffle the outside noise. During that time, I received support from someone on the phone who spoke very little English. This person did not fully understand my requests and kept trying to convince me that I could enter the room when, in fact, I could not. It was incredibly frustrating and humiliating, especially since I needed to use the bathroom. The hotel didn’t have any on-site staff, and everything was operated remotely via phone. Eventually, I was able to get into my room, but I wasn't confident that this situation wouldn’t happen again during my stay.
