Walking distance to most of the major sites and museums. Kitchenette was well stocked. The room was very clean. The building was safe and had an elevator. The shower leaked so badly it flooded the entire bathroom — we had to use every towel just to soak up the water. Clearly, there have been patchwork repairs rather than fixing the problem properly. On top of that, doors were slamming throughout the night and the noise from rowdy guests made it nearly impossible to sleep. It was very spacious and sparkling clean. The room had a kitchenette. We didn't hear much noise at night which allowed us to have a great night of sleep. The bed was very comfortable. We met Mr Gokhan Akca ( who I think is the owner or manager) in the laundry room where he helped us to get the washer machine started and offered his help during our stay. He was very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is located in a very loud area, and we could hear people and trams all night even with the windows closed. It was already hot in the room, so I imagine it would be very stuffy in the summer, especially if you have to keep the windows closed to try and muffle the outside noise. During that time, I received support from someone on the phone who spoke very little English. This person did not fully understand my requests and kept trying to convince me that I could enter the room when, in fact, I could not. It was incredibly frustrating and humiliating, especially since I needed to use the bathroom. The hotel didn’t have any on-site staff, and everything was operated remotely via phone. Eventually, I was able to get into my room, but I wasn't confident that this situation wouldn’t happen again during my stay.
