"Very nice cooked breakfast delivered to your room. The price of the room and breakfast was good value. It's on the cheaper side of accommodation so not everything was new but it all worked and was a great spot to have a nice hot shower and a good night's sleep."

"The room was clean and roomy with large spa bath. Continental breakfast was included with the price. Excellent value. Friendly and helpful staff. The meals were excellent in the restaurant.Car parking was tight but there was extra space on the road. Would recommend to a friend."

"Lovely cottage with serene garden backing onto the river. Host's were warm and welcoming. Convenient location with all essentials for a comfortable stay. This is a restored heritage building, not a modern build. Heaters kept the cottage cosy and warm. Bedding was very clean and comfortable with plenty of extra blankets at hand. A note for the minimalists out there - there were a lot of extra decorator cushions, overhead fabric, table runners and other fabric decor additions that you may find challenging. Free Wifi works but VPN required if you're concerned about security or sensitive data. Shower and water pressure were decent - very hot water for parents to consider. Parking is close but on a busy main road just outside the property entry. Managers Cottage is directly on the right as you enter through the main gates, at the bottom of a very steep driveway so if you're unsteady on foot be sure to request assistance or host permission to park directly outside the cottage to offload. Directly across the road is a well stocked AMPM fuel station selling all basics and hot food, ATM & car wash. KFC only 150m down the road. 450m in the other direction is local bakery, information centre and supermarket."
