"quirky little B&B in Chard centre. Very quiet town - only arrive din teh evening and left straight after breakfast - which wa svery very nice. James and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. Get there before 10pm if your'e travelling from afar - its' not 24hr check in . Ithink I had a single occupancy room - it was very clean and enough room - bathroom was compact!"

"Spacious room but small window looking out on rooftop so not a space to relax and enjoy particularly. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was pretty standard. Teas and coffee from a flask. The nicer seating area is for spa guests. Spa is a separate business and treatment was lovely but you have to pay to use the sauna, steam room and hit tub. They have their own opening hours and there's no pool which you kind of expect with the Spa Hotel name. Odd location off the road and...

"The place had literally changed management that day so unfortunately there was no cooked breakfast (only continental) until Sunday when the Chef would be in. Also the dinner menu was changed temporarily because of the sudden change in management. However, the new management and team were amazing in the service provided.
