The Morris Estate
10/10 Excellent
"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not high enough for a Sunday/Monday evening stay, so it makes sense. Highly recommend the Morris Estate, would love to come back and stay with a few other couples!"

"This location was perfect for a girls weekend birthday celebration. The farm is peaceful and an easy drive to local vinyards on the wine trail. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and to hang out. The one area we were a bit disappointed in was the kitchen. The broken tile on the floor in a high traffic area did not feel comfortable (or safe) to walk on. Additionally, the kitchen is not well stocked for food prep and/or cooking. We had planned to prepare a meal for the 8 of us and there were not adequate kitchen supplies for food prep, cooking, serving and eating."

"We so enjoyed our stay - a late summer escape from the heat further south. St. Joseph River right in the backyard was delightful for swimming and kayaking. Lots of beautiful areas nearby for walking and hiking, and Lake Michigan just a 30 minute drive away. The WiFi worked great, kitchen worked well for cooking, and A/C kept us cool "
