Lovingly restored, preserving as much of the original soul as possible, it promises to be a luxury stay in understated sophistication with 100% linen sheets, beautiful kitchen/dining, lovely private outdoor space, tranquil idyllic work/recharge areas, and enough space to make your own history. You won't want to leave. Located directly on the beautiful Michigan Wine Trail, this beautifully restored 1800s schoolhouse has everything for a unique and luxury stay. Surrounded by tranquil farmland, walking distance to Tabor Hill and Round Barn wineries, close to all that the Great Lakes Region has to offer. You might not want to leave however, with our 100% linen sheets, luxe soaking tub, walk in shower, and exclusive coffee roast curated by a local roaster. Private outdoor area flanked by the original 1800s girls and boys brick outhouses. Look closely and you can see the pegged construction and notched wood joinery that showcases the craftsmanship and care built into this amazing piece of history. Family owned and operated, we have sought to preserve history and honor times past with original pictures, maps, and poetry by civil war veteran Eli Helmick, who grew up next door on the grange.
