"It is a great location and the upstairs bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Our contacts were with the owner’s sister. She was eager to please. We left early because the house was not ready to rent in our opinion. If you choose to rent this house bring your own water for cooking and drinking. The kitchen is not set up for cooking. The oven ran extremely hot. One stove top burner was completely burned out, the others very dirty. Seating is uncomfortable either on wood chairs in the kitchen or the futon in the living room. Some of the kitchen cabinets don’t have doors and drawers don’t open.The main reason we left early was the strong mildew odor throughout the house. The odor was so strong that even airing out the house all day did not eliminate the odors."

"The property was perfect for our family get together. Plenty of space for 11 people to spread out and the views from the deck were amazing. We loved the location, close enough to Acadia but away from the crowds. Our family all agreed we would love to come again and hope to in the future."
