"We were a group of 10 family and friends, so there were plenty of beds. We found the house clean, well appointed,and stocked with everything we needed. We loved the seclusion of the spot. The roof top deck was a bonus, as we were there during the Perseids meteor shower. Away from the crowds of Acadia, the Schoodic peninsula is beautiful. Highly recommend and hope to come back! The little communication we had/needed with the prop manager was quick and courteous. As former business owner, I love when a product or service is represented honestly and delivered with good service. Thank you Sand Cove House!"

"This was a great place to stay in a cute fishing village. The home was cozy (although a little too warm upstairs the first night) and the whole family enjoyed it. It was farther away from the Acadia island than we expected, but we enjoyed the Schoonic region which was close by."

"We just returned from our trip. First the location was excellent. The property is very picturesque and really afford the visitor great places to walk and truly see the coast of Maine. The host did a really good job in communicating with us and was respectful of our privacy. Concerning the condition and the amenities of the property…This home is a two family, which is fine however there were many things missing that were really would’ve been nice to have. It seems like the host may not have a lot of experience in hosting. To be quite honest there was too many things to list and I don’t want to bash them. Just be cautious if you lease the space. You will need just about everything when you go. As I mentioned, the home is in a great location and you could tell it’s an old home that needed to be remodeled, which is understandable but much of the furniture was definitely inadequate, for example. The futon wasn’t really a futon and my son had a sleep half on a foot rest and a couch at different levels again I understand that people don’t have the resources to make it perfect and you can save some money by staying here, but regardless it still needs to be furnished properly and I’m just saying this so when other travelers go there, they know what to expect. we did have a great time and may do and I thank them for offer get to us."
