Good location, decent property that has been refurbished with some funky additions. Everything was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, we did have some noise staying in the room facing the main road, so maybe request a room further back on the property.
We had a last minute need for a stay. Staff was excellent, customer service was superb, clean property and a super comfy bed. Would definitely recommend and go back!
It was not what I was expecting for the money spent.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
For what we needed - a short break and central-ish location from which to explore the San Juan Islands and this part of the Pacific Northwest more broadly - this place was fine. BUT you MUST bring your earplugs! We were in room 120, which was a) directly underneath a 'line dancing in army boots' fetish group in 220 and b) right next to the world's noisiest ice machine which only seemed to be outdone in terms of noise by the people trying to talk over the volume of the machine while using it. But it was dog-friendly, convenient, reasonably priced (comparatively), had a decent shower, and friendly staff so would probably go again as long as I had my ear plugs!
This was a wonderful place to stay! I had a very large room and it was a pet friendly property. I love the updated design with the bright and rich colors on the outside and the wooden planking that I found out was made from the owner’s home on one of the nearby islands! The hangout area and the front with the fireplace and tables and casual chairs was a great touch. And the staff were so friendly! It was very easy to go anywhere I wanted to go in Anacortes and Whidbey Island with this is my homebase and I loved staying here!

The inn has a cute Scandinavian vibe and covers all the basics: clean room, comfortable bed, good size bathroom. Where they absolutely excel is with their staff. Front staff went out of their way 3 times to make my stay perfect. Kudos to them.
The hosts gave us the room and code for a remote check in when our train kept getting later and later.
The decor is simple and very cute. It was hard to get an Uber late at night from the train station in Mt Vernon. Best bet is to try both Uber and Lift but we did wish we’d just rented a car as we would have explored the area more.
We were spending two days One night in the area. This place was perfect for our needs A clean up and sleep Check in was easy Room was spacious and clean Place was quiet and good central location
