This beautiful home is located on a 1.24 acre high ground lot on Deepwater and marsh is only minutes from downtown Charleston. Residing next to protected marshland, it is a perfectly intimate location. Park your boat out back to have immediate access to the Wando River and Charleston Harbor.
This custom built home, reminiscent of a country estate, features an open floor plan, five well designed bedrooms, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with adjoining 'Butler's Pantry' and luxurious outdoor spaces extending the living area of the home. Night lighting highlights the moss-laden live oak trees that make this property so unique and beautiful. The spacious master bedroom connects to a large 'his & hers' walk-in closet and spa-like master bathroom complete with marble flooring, Jacuzzi tub, marble shower with bench seating and double sinks.
This property has all amenities available to fully enjoy your time at this marsh retreat; two single kayaks, a canoe (life jackets provided), crab traps, full sized swinging lounger perfect for relaxation, a gas and charcoal grill. The property also features WiFi, two washer/dryers, hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, screened porch with outdoor dining space and lounge chairs, IPOD dock/sound system, and flat screen TVs in (3) bedrooms and Living Room. The spacious dining room has seating for 8 and kitchen island seating for 4. Additional dining space available on screened porch and deck.

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The gorgeous views, the furnishings, the kitchen butler’s pantry- plenty of room for our family of 9 to spread out and have privacy but also large gathering spaces! We were going to a family wedding, so the giant bathroom with enormous vanity, with lighted mirror above allowed all of us ladies (from 3-70) to get ready together, giggling like girls getting ready for our first homecoming dance. Overall- our stay was delightful!
This is the second time we have stayed here and it is a lovely house with a great yard and dock for fishing. Good location. The kitchen could stand to be better equipped with cooking utensils and dishes.

Perfect for our immediate family to stay for my son's wedding weekend. Plenty of parking, convenient to stores, and quiet neighborhood with deer spotted in many areas. P
Our family enjoyed the inside and outside space of this home. There was plenty of room to gather and plenty of rooms to have our own quiet space. We enjoyed mornings on the deck, the large yard, and the walk out to the dock. Definitely felt like a home away from home.
Very close to I’on. Mount Pleasant was just minutes away, Charleston and Isle of Palms were about 18 minutes away. A great location of all our events in Charleston, Daniel Island, and I’on.
We love the location and layout of this home. We stayed here many years ago and returned this past fall. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood with access close to everything you need (groceries, restaurants etc). Our main issue was with how the kitchen was equipped….mainly with whatever previous guests bought and left behind. Random glasses, cheap silverware, assortment of cookware and cooking utensils, kitchen knives were dull and no steak knives. There was even a lot of pancake mix, flour, condiments, that haven’t been thrown out in a long time. The floors need to be mopped. Our socks were black and dust bunnies are under all the beds. I think with some good tlc and pulling the kitchen back together with purpose would go a long long way.
This place was awesome! The pictures/post do not do it justice. It was a perfect wedding weekend! Well appointed, nicely furnished, and we loved the quiet setting. We have a large, (very close knit) family, (26 in total, but we did not all stay there), and we were all pleased. The only comment was for my mom, the matriarch of us all. No grad bars…not easy to shower/bathe/.hold onto. We travel as a group/family…somewhat often for a family of our size, but I highly recommend!!!! Loved the one story living/entertaing. Bonus was the owner called the day of check in to let us know that it was “ready”, before the scheduled 4:00 check in. I thought that this was a super nice gesture, but we were all traveling .Would book again, for sure! One happy daddy of the bride!
We highly recommend this home for extended stays, large family groups or even events. The home is 3500 sq. ft. It sleeps over 10 and has a large dining room plus seating at the kitchen bar. There is parking for over 6 on the property with public parking across the street if you have more cars. The yard is huge and has a dock and kayaks on the creek behind. There are two big porches, one screened in and the other has a portion that is covered with a large sofa swing. It's a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The beds are comfy and the sheets and towels smell incredible. I want to know what they wash everything in! The kitchen is well-stocked and we were able to cook for our large group. The location is perfectly located centrally from downtown Charleston , Isle of Palm, Sullivan Island and Daniel Island. There are a zillion excellent restaurants and activities close by and lots of places to bike and jog. I have this saved in my favorites!
We loved our stay here, rooms were perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful time as a family being there and we did lots of stuff in Charleston. Overall would recommend this house. Highly recommend Orlando’s Pizza (very close by).
Here are some things to note: Kitchen basically has everything you need however some of the sauté pans are worn. Grill is good however uneven heating, there are some bugs we found alive in the house but in southern states that’s a possibility (we’re from Florida so used to it, however seemed like a little more bugs were there so maybe pest control could be increased), dock was listed “deep water” however the approach to the dock and into the canal was, at low tide, extremely shallow. We had a 20’ Robalo and it was hard to navigate. Furniture is a little worn (2 dining room chairs broke with popping springs which we sort of fixed, the others were pretty uncomfortable as well). The backyard is beautiful but unfortunately it was so hot we weren’t able to enjoy it as much. Again, it’s a beautiful home and would stay here again.
Had the best time ever with my family here! Perfect most charming home and the location was superb. Loved having a beautiful view of the creek and even caught a rainbow during the storms.
Everything about our experience – from the location, the accommodations, and the host – was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this place and we hope to stay there again.
The house fit our party of 9 perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean. Perfect distance for trips to the city or to Shem creek, we were able to fit a lot into one weekend!
The home was large enough to accommodate 7 adults and 2 children comfortably. 2 kitchens came in handy. The trees in the yard and shrubbery were nice to view when sitting on either of the patios. The only suggestion is replace the silverware. There are hardly any spoons. We would definitely rent again if we vacation in that area.
