This hotel was only two months old when we stayed there. The inside decor and rooms were super clean and very nice. The breakfast that is included was good and it was nice that each room has a kitchenette.

We really liked having a "suite" with a small kitchenette. The staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful in helping us navigate the city and the "tourists" spots. The hotel "restaurant" was not as expected; although the food was good, it was too pricey and not enough variety. It also felt a little uncomfortable sitting "out in the open" when eating dinner. The breakfast was very good, we liked the variety. Would have liked pancakes and biscuits and gravy? The pool was wonderful, although we didn't get enough time in the evenings to be in the pool due to weather, which is not the fault of the hotel.

Breakfast buffet was good with some variety, staff was super friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and the pool was clean and large. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is that the beds were by far the most uncomfortable beds we’ve ever slept in for hotel beds and the AC in the rooms could not keep up with the heat.. they felt ice cold during the day but then at night it was almost like the whole system was on a universal setting where it would not get any colder. Aside from those two things, for the price point it was a great location with friendly customer service. Please note, parking was $15/day- we did not realize that until checking out.

Very clean and up-to-date rooms. This hotel was less than six months old when we stayed. Perfect location for walking the bridge and having an affordable stay close to downtown Charleston.

The hotel is well maintained and overall a very nice property. However, there were several issues during my stay that impacted the experience. There was an internet outage for approximately 24 hours, which was a significant inconvenience. As a result, the bar was closed, and the laundry facilities were offline, making it necessary to obtain change for the machines. The television in my room was not working at check in and was never repaired during my three night stay, despite the issue being reported. There was also no housekeeping service provided during my stay, including towel replacement. I had to contact the front desk to request trash removal. One unusual interaction occurred when the housekeeping manager knocked on my door one afternoon but did not enter. I stepped into the hallway to ask if she needed anything, and she simply said no. I was left confused about the purpose of the visit. While the property itself is attractive and well maintained, the lack of basic services and unresolved maintenance issues made the stay disappointing.

Everything was awesome at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. My only complaint was that they only had queen beds when I booked a king. However, that was attributed to booking on Expedia and we were given a room with a nice view when I mentioned it was my 35th wedding anniversary. A good compromise.
