Alhambra Hall is also just a mile away, so this home is an excellent choice if you're in town for a wedding. We really enjoyed the layout of the house. The first floor was perfect for us - Kitchen with dining area, family room in back with access to enclosed backyard for dog. My 94 year old mother stayed in the first floor bedroom so had access to all the living areas - important key point for us so she did not have to worry about any stairs or steps. We’ve stayed in Mt. Pleasant a few times. This pictures actually do it an under justice which is very rare to say. It is so spacious and clean. Beautiful place and very welcoming!! We stayed after Christmas and there was an issue from the rain that was out of anyone’s control before we got there and we were notified beforehand and checked on to ensure there were no more issues. Very responsive to any concerns we had, which was only that we wanted to utilize the outdoor area and it was chilly and the propane tank was empty for the fire pit . It was fixed the next morning. The neighborhood is quiet and very convenient to anything you could need. You do not have access to the garage. We have a truck that would not have fit anyway, but if bringing two vehicles, this is on a curve and we almost got stuck by a moving truck that happened to park behind the driveway, so one car is recommended. The only recommendation is that there are no tv’s in the upstairs bedrooms. We didn’t have any children so it wasn’t an issue, but could be for others. It is right outside of Charleston and it is super easy to get to downtown Charleston. It is also close to great restaurants and the beach.
