The rooms were lovely and well appointed. Most staff spoke a little English so communication was not an issue. I liked having access to the spa however perhaps there should be one point of payment to prevent Being confused. There was no access to a restaurant which would have been nice to know at the time of booking.

Wait till it's finished
We have stayed here before so were looking forward to a relaxing 2 days. WRONG! Restaurant closed, bar closed, pool closed, terrace and garden closed no air conditioning (waiting for an engineer). No facilities in the hotel at all. The staff were embarrassed. I complained that this info should have been posted on the website and they blamed someone else. Reception was left unattended at times and not all staff speak english. This is not a 4 star hotel and the listing is misrepresenting. We spoke to expedia and are waiting a response. The hotel offered to waive the parking charge (16 euros) which was an insult for the lack of facilities. I will escalate this further. Don't go!!!!!!!

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of everything Moulins has to offer. We stayed on Sunday and the restaurant was closed as was most of the rest of the town, but a café steps from the front door was open. The room was fairly small but the splendid bathroom made up for it! The staff were courteous and helpful'

excellent location in the town in an interesting building. Nice terrace. Very helpful staff. BUT we had to pay for parking! we had to ask for things at breakfast. Wifi not free. The main thing was the stuffiness of the room- a lot of space wasted with cushions etc and the air conditioning did not work

Lovely hotel
It was a lovely surprise, I did not expect very much due to lack of research. Chose this hotel purely because it is next to the main tourist attractions in town. The build is a very well kept, stately period building, and the décor fits the period very well, and all the modern comfort is there too. Excellent bathroom with multi-functional shower, and heated towel racks, etc. The room is well lit, with various reading lights, bed, and pillows are comfortable, dressing gown and slippers are provided. However breakfast is quite ordinary, 16 euro/person, I suppose it is alright.

A jewel of a hotel at a great price
I was carried away by this newly renovated hotel, and would recommend it highly to anyone. Excellent location, beautiful hotel, with great rooms, very nice big bathroom, spacious room. Excellent helpful and engaging staff at reception, and an exceptional reasonable price . Ate at the restaurant and it was a great value, with excellent food (far surpassing a supposedly highly rated cuisine we had the night before elsewere). Can't praise this jewel enough

Bel hôtel mais l’accueil surtout à l’arrivée très impersonnel. Accor ferait bien de proposer une formation à la relation client. Je viens dans cet hôtel depuis longtemps mais je commence à me lasser. Travailler dans l’hôtellerie c’est de soucier de fidéliser la clientèle : poser des questions, s’intéresser à l’autre. Et… expliquer comment fonctionne le buffet du petit déjeuner.

Fantastique hôtel et encore je n'ai pas vu le SPA... Charme qui mélange l'ancien - tel un petit château - et le moderne avec tout le confort. Lit gigantesque !

Séjour agréable mais le matelas de la chambre était particulièrement inconfortable et glissait du sommier. La fenêtre ne pouvait être ouverte entièrement, ce qui n'est pas très agréable.

Accueil tres moyen. A notre arrivée personne à l'accueil nous avons du chercher quelqu'un.Aucun renseignements sur la ville meme pas un plan. Petit déjeuner tres moyen le pain était de la veille ,les oeufs brouillés tout sec. Le personnel n'est meme pas capable de dire bonjour !!!

Chambre et hospitalité oké, mais le petit déjeuner etait horrible. Meme pour un hotel sans etoiles la qualite et disponabilite des produits seraient mieux. Sur la buffette 1 tranche de jambon, 2 petit morceaux du meme fromage, café et jus d'Orange. Pas de croissants ou pains au chocolat. Un peu plus tard ces deux derniers seraient mis sur le buffet, brulé. Pas d'oeufs brouilles etc. Grande deception pour un hotel 4 etoiles.

Bon accueil lors de l'arrivée. Check in rapide. Chambre comfortable dans l'annexe avec une salle de bain large avec douche et baignoire. Hotel tres calme et bien situe. Lors du depart attente de 10 mns pour qu'un employe vienne a la reception. Je devais juste regler le parking et la taxe de sejour puisque j'avais prepaye ma chambre. L'employe me demande de regler ma chambre a nouveau. quand je lui explique que celle a ete pre-paye il me dit que cela n'apparait pas sur la reservation. Apres avoir insiste il me dit que finalement c'est bien paye et qu'Expedia fait souvent le coup!!!! Pas tres professionel, surtout quand il me demande de regler la taxe de sejour pour deux personnes pensant que j'etais avec un autre client qui attendait son tour pour le check in. "Oh pardon, je pensais que vous etiez ensemble"!!!!!!!!!! Nous etions bien deux avec mon epouse mais quelle idee de penser que j'etais avec l'autre personne!

Lors de votre prochaine visite avant la fin de l'été, sachez que Moulins fait de merveilleuses illuminations sur 5 monuments en nocturne c'est fantastique !! Mériterait tellement de travaux !
Hôtel très cher pour une prestation qui se veut moyen a haut de gamme mais qui vaut tout juste un 2 étoiles. Hôtel qui mériterait énormément de travaux dans la salle de bain, la chambre … joints de salle de bain moisis. Petit déjeuner de bonne qualité
