It is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. It was built in the 16th century, tragically destroyed in 1994 but rebuilt in 2004. It's an absolute must-see for anyone visiting Bosnia & Herzegovina. Or for anyone visiting Dubrovnik, Croatia! And Mostar, the cultural capital of Herzegovina region, is one of the most historically diverse cities in Europe. Today it is about half Croatian and half Bosniak.
