We really enjoyed our stay! The place was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet — perfect for relaxing by the lake. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and worked very well together. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to others. We would love to come back again!
We stayed last minute during a fire evacuation. We were pleasantly surprised by the big comfortable room and the old fashioned charm of the resort. It was clean and quiet.the town and lake were relaxing. We had two dogs with us and it was very dog friendly.
The Log cabin had some safety issues. upstairs the king bed was positioned in middle of room and when you walked behind it I tripped over the wood connected to the bed sticking out on the floor and the second time i hit that cornor and it scrapped my leg.
Lighting could have been better since it is such a dark log cablin like on the stairs as coming down missed a stair at the bottom.
We were advised there was a grill for barbeque but was not told we would have to clean it and provid our own coals and lighter fluid which is fine just wish we were advised about that. The staff were great though and well maintained grounds. Just wish there where instructions on the large tub in cabin etc.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Access to Soap Lake was excellent. But the outdoor showers — essential here — were very minimal, and breakfast was quite weak. With no other breakfast option in town, the breakfast should be much better for a “resort”.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The good news: The jacuzzi in the cabin was a major plus, the cabin was very roomy offering each of us opportunity to find a cozy place to be quiet. The kitchen and washer/ dryer certainly pluses. The grounds were lovely and greatly appreciated.
The less than: could not sign on to the wi-fi with the credentials, one TV was down for a few hours, kitchen did not have chopping knives, and the a few pots had scratched coating which is unhealthy for cooking. Kitchen could use a few non- scratch utensils. The windows need screens so you can open windows and not let bugs in.
Will definitely book again through because there are many more pluses than less thans. 😁😁😁
We absolutely loved our stay at the resort in the family cabin. The cabin was spotless and beautifully furnished in a cozy old-time cabin style — the handmade wooden furniture and log interior truly felt like something out of a fairy tale. The resort is incredibly family-friendly and safe, with beautiful grounds and great amenities, plus kayaks and paddle boards available to rent.
We had a great time, old hotel building. Felt very comfortable and safe, we didn't get a chance to use and grounds much. Love sitting by the beach for a short time
The staff was super helpful. There was a mix up with the three rooms we’d booked and they comped us another single room, which made our stay so much more enjoyable.
The mineral bath option in our deep room tubs was also lovely!
The suite had barely any cups or plates, there was blood stained marks on the concrete, we got upgraded to a Lakeview, which had a view of a parking lot and where we parked our vehicle. Staff was very friendly and nice, but the place just simply didn’t cut it.
My close friend, and CWU alumni sister put me on Soap Lake. We were having dinner and she recommended visiting for my four day weekend. I didn’t hesitate because the starts aligned. I booked a room at this beautiful resort and was NOT disappointed! It is walking distance from the lake. Close to gas, pubs, restaurants! The staff was friendly, welcoming, understanding, supportive, respectful and extremely helpful. They helped make my stay at the resort feel flawless and healing. I recommend to everyone who is looking to balance their nervous systems with peace, positivity, and tranquility. Forever grateful!!
Staff was very nice and helpful. Was mislead by amenities listed however the manager was able to help us with water sport activities instead. Only had a couple hot tubs up and running others down for maintenance. Was quiet and peaceful and nice outdoor areas for relaxing. Would say it is more of a stay for adult get away than family vacation.
Staff at check in were WONDERFUL - I was given a tour of the facilities which made me appreciate all the amenities and variety of rooms available. Being on the lake is lovely, and our room was charming but spacious. I would definitely return
We really enjoyed our stay! The spa pod was cute and very affordable, it’s walking distance to some good restaurants and the area was gorgeous! Very friendly staff.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Very clean and affordable. There are a lot of thoughtful touches at this resort, the warm lighting, decorations... We had a nice peaceful stay.
