We had an incredible stay at Umoya Lodge in Pilanesberg and couldn’t recommend it more. The game drives were absolutely amazing, made even more special by our ranger, Rassie, who was knowledgeable, passionate, and a joy to spend time with. We saw so much wildlife and every drive felt like a true safari adventure. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the lodge itself is beautiful. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for relaxing after a day out on safari. Overall, an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Umoya Lodge to anyone looking for a fantastic safari getaway

Die Unterkunft ist top. Das Zimmer riesig, wunderschön und sauber. Das Personal alle sehr nett (besonders: Rassie, mit dem wir unvergessliche Stunden auf den Game Drives hatten und Chris, der sehr zuvorkommende Barkeeper, Kellner). Eine total Katastrophe war das Essen. Im Vorfeld wurden wir nach Allergien etc. gefragt. Jedoch wurde nichts davon umgesetzt. Ich muss mich vegan ernähren, aber kann Eier essen. Ebenso hatte ich angegeben, dass ich kein scharfes Essen vertrage, bekam aber jeden Tag Chili- Sauce, obwohl ich jeden Tag sagte, dass ich es nicht essen konnte. Den 1. Abend bekam ich nur Gemüse ohne was dazu und als Nachtisch kleingeschnittenes Obst (Das bekam ich alle 3 Abende). Nachdem ich mich am 2. Tag beschwert hatte, dachte ich, dass es besser wurde, da auch vegane Muffins für mich gebacken wurden. Diese waren aber am nächsten Tag verschwunden. Abends gab es Pizza, die an sich schon nicht gut war, total verbrannt und trocken. Die normale wurde gebacken und in Warmhaltebehälter gelegt. Am nächsten Tag stand dann auf der Brunch Karte Veganer Burger, den ich auch direkt bestellt habe. Abends bekam ich das gleiche Gemüse wie am ersten Abend mit Couscous (alles war kalt und trocken). Der Koch kam auch fragen und sagte nur sorry. Chris war der Einzige, der gefragt hat, ob sie mir was anderes machen sollen. Als wir dann am nächsten Morgen vom Game Drive kamen, standen vegane Würstchen auf der Karte. Die Küche muss DRINGEND verbessert werden, vor allem bei dem Preisniveau!

Se fosse possível, daríamos 10 estrelas. Uma experiência única! O lodge é incrível, uma estrutura muito completa, aconchegante e confortável. A limpeza do quarto é impecável, comidas excepcionais e equipe muito atenciosa e acolhedora. O safari foi incrível, nosso guia estava muito empenhado em nos proporcionar um passeio maravilhoso (e ele conseguiu). Com certeza voltaremos!

O local é de extremo bom gosto. Desde a recepção individual. A delicadeza das gestoras e a sutileza riquíssima em detalhes perfeitos. Comemorei minha lua de mel nesta belíssima viagem à África do Sul e apesar da rápida passagem pelo parque Pilanesberg pude contemplar a natureza em sua mais perfeita criação. Certamente o Umoya lodge estará em minha memória pelo resto de minha vida. É um local de extrema paz e de beleza ímpar e rústica. Nunca comi tão bem e fui tão bem tratada em toda minha vida. Recomendo no mínimo 2 noites para que possam tentar ver os animais em 4 safaris. Infelizmente não avistamos búfalos, leões e leopardos mas contemplamos dezenas de outros animais. Ranger é muito paciente e atencioso. Os lanches do safari nos permite uma parada reflexiva em meio a natureza. Com toilet. O quarto é maravilhoso. Roupa de cama hotel colection de altíssimo nível. Ducha extremamente quente. Banheira. Lençóis e cama perfeitos. Alimentação toda a la carte muito bem servida. Pratos extremamente bem elaborados. Chefe esta de parabéns. Drinks,cervejas diversas, vinhos selecionados tudo incluído. Digno de 6 estrelas. Parabéns a todos.

O que mais impressiona é a cordialidade da equipe, que nos recebeu com um carinho genuíno do início ao fim. ​Um destaque especial para a nossa guia, Emma: extremamente profissional e conhecedora, tornou nossos game drives inesquecíveis com sua habilidade em localizar os animais e explicar cada detalhe da vida selvagem. ​A decoração do lodge é de muito bom gosto, equilibrando sofisticação e conforto, e a localização dentro do parque é privilegiada, garantindo uma imersão total na natureza com fácil acesso aos melhores pontos de avistamento.
