About this property

Beautiful T2 with south facing balcony in high floor completely renovated in 2015.

Modern and warm it has been renovated with taste for our own use.
Wood floor tile, slate wall and high quality materials give it a rustic-chic upscale look.
It is equipped for 4 people in the following way:
* entrance with storage and space for ski boots

* a closed modular room (with window):
1 / with a 80x190 bed for one person and a play area for children
2 / a second bed (trundle) offering two separate beds 80x190
3 / or a 160x190 bed for a couple with memory foam mattress
The room is equipped with several storage & night table

* a living room / stay:
- with 1 retractable bed (space saving) offering a bed 160x200 with memory foam mattress. The bed easily folds on the sofa without having to remove the sheets and comforter.
- plenty of storage space and an LED reading light next to the sofa for your evenings reading.

Not upto to standard

We’ve been coming to this area for over 20 years, and this apartment is not up to standard when it’s over €1000 euros for the week. Prior to arrival, the owner’s phone number is incorrect. No answer on call or WhatsApp. Extractor fan didn’t work and owner didn’t reply to the agent to get it working. We had to open both doors to keep apartment clear whenever we cooked (because of this, we couldn’t cook as often as we liked). Not ideal when it was -10 on the first morning! Door handle missing from toilet, shower door didn’t close properly. Lighting in kitchen was appalling and hard to see food prep area. No welcome guide especially for oven which was only in French and even with Translate app, we couldn’t get it working easily. If you charge €1000’s for a week, please fix these things before others stay there. The agent in Avoriaz (not owner) was very helpful but these problems should not be seen in the first place

Great location, but not the best welcome

We previously stayed at the apartment in 2018 and had been really impressed by the location, the quality of the apartment and the check in process, so were keen to re-book this year when coming back to Avoriaz. Things started poorly with the check in process. We drove to Avoriaz from the UK and based our arrival time on the check-in times given to us for the booking. On calling the owners concierge to inform him we were around 1 hour away, we were told the property would not be ready until 3 hours after the check-in time. When we did get into the property, it had not been cleaned, and was in a poor state of repair. Cupboards we broken and not possible to close, door handles falling off of the toilet door, and plugs & light switches that were coming away from the walls. On our first stay at this property we loved it, and found it to be in a good condition. 5 years later it is all looking rough round the edges. The location of the apartment is fantastic. It is next-door to the underground carpark, there is a Sherpa supermarket attached to the building, and a boulangerie opposite. The view of Les Hauts-Forts from the balcony are spectacular. From the apartment it is easy to ski to the main part of town for all the local ski schools. If the apartment is given some renovation, we would consider coming back. But in it's current state, we would be looking at other apartments in the same area.

Das Apartment ist sehr gut, zentral gelegen und durch die 3 (immer funktionierenden!) AufzĂŒge hervorragend zu erreichen.Alle RĂ€ume entsprachen den Informationen und Bildern. Die Ausstattung ist gut (z.B. KĂŒchen- und Putzutensilien), Der Fernseher groß und mit vier deutschsprachigen Programmen besser ausgestattet als in anderen Wohnungen in Avoriaz, wo wir schon öfter waren.Der Skikeller ist gut zugĂ€nglich und hat ein ausreichend großes Fach fĂŒr alles.Unser Ansprechpartner vor Ort war Nicolas, der sich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit um uns gekĂŒmmert hat.Was uns nicht gefallen hat, war die Erstkommuikation nach der Buchung: Wir haben erst auf DrĂ€ngen sehr knapp vor unserer Ankunft die nötigen Informationen vom Vermieter bekommen. Da sind wir mehr Entgegenkommen/Service gewohnt.Die Beleuchtung des Wohnraums lĂ€sst zu wĂŒnschen ĂŒbrig, und an manchen Tagen hat es permanent von der Balkondecke auf unseren Balkon getropft, so dass man dort nicht sitzen konnte, ohne nassgespritzt zu werden.Wir waren sehr einverstanden damit, dass wir selbst die Endreinigung vornehmen konnten, um dadurch unnötig hohe Kosten zu vermeiden.Das Skigebiet war toll wie immer und der kurze Weg zum BĂ€cker oder Sherpa perfekt.

TrÚs agréable séjour !

L'appartement est idĂ©alement placĂ© dans la station pour ne pas avoir de difficultĂ© entre son vĂ©hicule et le logement, mais aussi pour les commerces de proximitĂ©s, ou mĂȘme chausser les skis dĂšs la sortie du bĂątiment pour rejoindre le plateau ESF ou partir skier. Le logement est trĂšs fonctionnel et bien Ă©quipĂ©. La literie du grand lit fut trĂšs apprĂ©ciable, nous avons rarement Ă©tĂ© aussi satisfait d'un lit lors d'une location ! Rien Ă  dire, nous y retournerions avec plaisir si nous retournons Ă  Avoriaz.

par contre demande du propriĂ©taire de supplĂ©ment de prix pour une nuit supplĂ©mentaire non souhaitĂ©e malgrĂ© une rĂ©servation instantanĂ©e validĂ©e trois semaines avant ! Nous avons payĂ© sous la menace d’une annulation du propriĂ©taire (?) et sommes bien partis la veille Ă©videmment comme prĂ©vu !Grosse dĂ©ception Ă  l’arrivĂ©e appartement sale et pas entretenu ! Literie trĂšs sale, matelas et oreillers degoutants, nombreuses taches de graisses sur les murs de la piĂšce principale, meubles en trĂšs mauvais Ă©tat ! Seul l’emplacement correspond Ă  la description 
 attention restaurant festif au rez de chaussĂ©e et passage incessant d’engins motorisĂ©s la nuit ! ArrivĂ©e autonome Ă©videmment (boĂźte Ă  clĂ©) Donc pas de rĂ©clamation possible Ă  l’arrivĂ©e. Avoriaz stay

The booking of this property was simple enough and we were given some details at the point of booking. However, when checking in we found that the key code didn't work so we rang the contact provided and he provided another code that didn't work so we had to wait for him to come to the property. When he arrived he informs us that he wasn't made aware of anybody staying and this was clear as the apartment was not cleaned and linen left from the previous occupants. The apartment had not been thoroughly cleaned from the bathroom, the bedrooms or the kitchen/dining room area. I contacted the host and informed him of this and I still haven't received a response. The apartment is on the small side and has limited space for luggage or clothes storage. On the plus side the shower was strong and always had hot water available. The location is excellent and a 5 minute walk from the main station even with luggage (a point to note is that the horse carriages won't take you that short distance or they wouldn't for us). The instructions to get to the property could have been clearer i.e. go to the far right hand side of the main station where the lift is and continue to walk around the corner to where the restaurants and ski (Skimium) shop is. Overall a good location but the apartment is small and our experience was that the apartment wasn't cleaned!

L'appartement est idéalement situé, proche des parkings et accÚs facile skis aux pieds au domaine et ESF pour les enfants. Vue magnifique depuis le balcon sur le village et les montages. Appartement fonctionnel malgré la surface. Joliment décoré, literie de qualité. SDB trÚs propre. Je recommande!

Schönes Appartement, gut ausgestattet, in gutem Zustand. Das Internet eher unzuverlĂ€ssig und langsam. Streaming am Abend funktionierte aber erstaunlich gut. In der KĂŒche Grundzutaten vorhanden. Gutes Schrankbett. Sauberkeit ausreichend. Schöner Blick. GebĂ€ude insgesamt etwas runter. Teilweise alle drei AufzĂŒge defekt, zum GlĂŒck nicht an den Reisetagen. Reparatur erfolgte schnell. A fantastic holiday in excellent accommodation

We were so impressed with this wonderful apartment. It was situated in a perfect location close to shops, restaurants, ski hire and the pistes, with ski to door access. It was clean and tidy on arrival and the host was always on hand to help if needed. We were really impressed with the super king size bed stored in the wall. The views from balcony were also amazing. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it :)

Cela fait la cinquiĂšme fois que nous venons Ă  Avoriaz en changeant d’appartement Ă  chaque fois. Cette annĂ©e a Ă©tĂ© la meilleure. Nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© cet appartement avec une mention spĂ©ciale pour la literie excellente. Il est amĂ©nagĂ© avec goĂ»t et on s’y sent trĂšs bien Ă  4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants). Il est aussi trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© : frigo plus grand que la moyenne, lave vaisselle (petite taille mais trĂšs silencieux), combinĂ© four/four micro onde et un trĂšs grand Ă©cran plat. Le sĂ©jour a Ă©tĂ© parfait!

Bel appartement oĂč nous avons sĂ©journĂ© pendant une semaine, magnifique vue depuis le sĂ©jour sur la vallĂ©e de chablais. Appartement propre dans son ensemble gĂ©nĂ©ral, remis au goĂ»t du jour. Pas de nuisances sonores vis Ă  vis des voisins. Seul petit bĂ©mol manque de luminositĂ© dans l'appartement le soir (Ă©clairage), il manque au moins un Ă©clairage au dessus ou Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de levier de cuisine, et le lustre du sĂ©jour n'est pas au centre de la piĂšce. Appartement que je conseille fortement vis Ă  vis d'autres appartements dans la station. Merci aussi pour l'accueil convivial de Sophie. JĂ©rĂŽme/AurĂ©lien

un dĂ­a antes de llegar al apartamento contratado nos dicen que ha habido un error y que este ya esta reservado, luego nos comentan que esta solucionado y que tienen otro de exactamente las mismas caracteristicas, totalmente falso puesto que estaba mucho mas viejo y la nevera no funcionaba.

Nous avons louĂ© cet appartement pour la semaine du nouvel an et avons eu l'exceptionnel privilĂšge de sĂ©journer juste aprĂšs le propriĂ©taire qui Ă©tait sensĂ© avoir fait le mĂ©nage avant son dĂ©part: malheureusement sol non balayĂ© (ongles divers, "moutons" de poussiĂšres...), sous le banc : la "cour des miracles" (bouchons de compotes, biscuits), machine Ă  cafĂ© non vidĂ©e, frigo sale et non vidĂ© avec yaourtes pĂ©rimĂ©s, l'Ă©vacuation de la baignoire pleine de cheveux...que du bonheur... Cerise sur le gĂąteau pas de clef disponible pour le local Ă  ski (dommage nous sommes en hiver !). Donc le terme de magnifique n'est Ă©videmment pas appropriĂ© pour cet appartement dont d'ailleurs seule la piĂšce Ă  vivre a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ©e. Autres points nĂ©gatifs: propriĂ©taire injoinable, 6 mois pour obtenir un contrat de location et ses coordonnĂ©es, seulement soucieux Ă  ĂȘtre payĂ© (en espĂšces de prĂ©fĂ©rence !) et Ă©videmment au vu des points citĂ©s prĂ©cĂ©demment irrespectueux avec les locataires Seul point positif: produits mĂ©nagers disponibles. Pour que le locataire effectue le mĂ©nage aprĂšs le propriĂ©taire ?...

Appartement conforme à la description. Confortable, bien équipé et bien situé dans la station. TrÚs bonne literie. Prise en charge agréable de Vanessa. Nous recommandons sans problÚme.
