Moriya Vacation Packages
Moriya is located approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Tokyo, the national capital, and about 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Chiba.
The area around Moriya is wonderfully endowed with natural and cultural attractions, from firmly-established, must-see spots to quiet, secret places that are waiting just for you. Narashino, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the north, and Toda, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the northeast of Moriya are also waiting to be discovered.
Approximately 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the west of Moriya is Saitama, a regional center where you'll find Hikawa Shrine, Saitama Super Arena and Omiya Park. If you still have time left, check out Saitama Stadium 2002 (Saitama Stadium) and John Lennon Museum before you head back to Moriya.
Making the effort to get your tongue around a few common Japanese words and phrases is one of the most endearing compliments you can offer to Moriya locals. "Isshoni odorimasenka?" means "Would you like to dance with me?" And "Benjo wa doko desu ka?", which translates as "Where's the toilet?"
The 23rd of December is Birthday of Emperor Akihito, so if you're vacationing here at this time, be aware that many businesses may have different opening hours to normal as the nation celebrates.
As your adventures here draw to a close, spend what's left of your yen on that last souvenir and say Sayōnara to the new friends you've made and the places you've spent time.
