Chalet in quiet Morillon / Samoëns - near slopes - Stunning views - ideal for family

High season period reservations are only accepted from Saturday to Saturday. Otherwise consult us for more flexibility.

The Morillon station is part of the Grand Massif ski area which rises to 2500 m above sea level. The 5 stations (Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt), all linked together, offer 265 km of alpine ski slopes spread over 135 pistes. The Morillon-Samoëns site also offers numerous cross-country ski trails.

The chalet is located between the traditional village of Morillon, 700 m above sea level and the village of 'Les Esserts' at 1100 m in the heart of the ski area.

Morillon is located 3.5 km from Samoëns, 12 km from Les Gets, 25 km from Morzine-Avoriaz and 55 km from Chamonix.

Costs to be paid on site and on request:
85 euros optional cleaning if you do not wish to do so.
6 euros per person per stay for bathroom towels.

Fine stay in nice Chalet

We were with a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 kids, age 12 tot 20 in the chalet for a week during our wintersport. The chalet is clean and looks nice. There is a fine kitchen and nice bedrooms. We had easy and good communication with Eddy, the owner. Some remarks; the chalet is very noisy so you can hear every talking from your own bedroom and it's quite long walk to the skipiste (also when there is enough snow). Some tips for the chalet; create a place for skihelmets and hang hooks in the groundfloor bathroom.

Morillon

Het Chalet is net boven het dorp gelegen. Met 5 minuten ben je bij de lift die je naar Morillon 1100 brengt. Je kan daar ook eventueel naar toe rijden. Toen wij daar waren was het redelijk warm en was er pas sneeuw op 1100 meter. Het Chalet is mooi gelegen, in de verte zie je Samoëns. Er zijn 3 slaapkamers en een mogelijkheid om op de overloop te slapen waar 2 slaapkamers zijn. De wanden zijn wel wat dun dus je kunt elkaar in de kamers horen praten. Helemaal beneden bij de garage en wasmachine/droger is een kleine badkamer met toilet en een goede douche. Op de 1e verdieping een grote kamer met tv, eettafel en een open keuken met alle voorzieningen. Op deze verdieping is een slaapkamer en een badkamer met bad en douche, je staat dan wel in het bad. Dat water spat dan wel alle kanten op tijdens het douche. Op de 1e verdieping een groot balkon met uitzicht op de vallei en bergen aan de overkant. Tevens toegang tot de tuin. Les Gets is 25 minuten rijden en Morzine iets verder mocht je hoger willen skiën met toegang tot Avoriaz. In Morillon is niet veel te beleven dus ga je al snel richting Samoëns. Ik zag geen opstap voor een ski bus. Deze is wel beneden in het dorp om richting Samoëns te gaan. Kort gezegd een leuk chalet met veel slaapplekken, grote tuin en mooi uitzicht.

Spacieux chalet pour huit personnes, bien equipe et en ordre avec des coins sympathique. On a passe une bonne semaine. Le seul probleme c'est une probleme de luxe. On devait prendre la voiture pour skier.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans ce chalet. La vue depuis le balcon est magnifique. Les équipements sont récents (taque à induction, lave-vaisselle). La literie est excellente, ferme et confortable. Coin TV très agréable en mezzanine. La voiture est nécessaire pour accéder aux pistes. Le domaine skiable est vaste et varié.

Nous étions 2 couples et 4 enfants et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Le chalet est parfaitement équipé et confortable. Sa situation est idéale pour accéder aux pistes de ski (5-6 minutes en voiture). Très calme et spacieux, nous avons aussi profité du petit jardin pour faire des bonhommes de neige. Un tout petit bémol pour le lit superposé de la chambre du bas qui n'est pas accessible aux enfants de moins de 6 ans (les nôtres ont 3 ans, nous avons du aménager un peu les chambres). Un grand merci aussi à Marie-Claude qui nous a chaleureusement accueillie et qui a été très disponible pour répondre à nos questions.

Wonderful clean chalet with great views

We had an action packed Holiday with all the activities on offer in the area. We went mountain biking, rafting, swimming, paragliding, luging, walking and mountain hiking, then relaxed in the garden looking at the views in the evening. Lots of local walks with some paths starting just a short way down the hill from the chalet and paths to the village with a steep walk back which allows the eating of the lovely cakes from the local bakers. Also lots of ski lifts running in the summer so you can get easy access to the top of the mountains with or without bikes if you want to. The chalet was very clean on arrival and very comfortable for me and my 3 grown up children. The only reason i haven't given 5 stars is because there was no hand soap or hand towels. Also as our flight was delayed we arrived later then expected so didn't have time to go shopping first, so ended up not having anything to drink apart from water on our first night. A small welcome food pack with coffee ect. would have been handy. Only very small things knock a star off and would definitely stay in this chalet again. A great rememberable 2 week holiday was had here by all of us.

Le chalet est confortable et spacieux pour 4 adultes et 5 enfants avec un superbe point de vue. Le véhicule est abrité. Le garage permet de stocker tout l'équipement de ski. Même si il y a un bon enneigement, il ne faut pas compter descendre au village par la piste Labérieu qui n'a pas été ouverte cette année. Il est cependant possible d'accéder facilement en voiture aux remontées de Morillon village en 10 minutes où un grand parking est accessible.
