The best time to go to Moresby is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, you'll experience consistently warm, sunny days with lower humidity and very little rainfall. This makes it ideal for enjoying all the outdoor activities Moresby and the surrounding region have to offer, such as exploring the Great Barrier Reef, visiting the national parks, or simply relaxing on the beaches. The ocean conditions are generally calmer, which is great for snorkelling, diving, and boat trips. The wet season, from November to April, brings higher humidity, more frequent rainfall, and the possibility of tropical cyclones, particularly between January and March. While the landscape is lusher during this time, some outdoor activities might be affected by the weather, and marine stingers are more prevalent in the water, requiring stinger suits for swimming.
