La habitación tenía humedad debajo del aire acondicionado. Es un problema el estacionamiento, aunque “tienen” convenio, si se llena ya no te dejan pasar y hay que caminar casi 2 calles para dejar y recoger el auto.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Right in the middle of everything, lots of police around due to Dia de Muertos, but even after it was done there was a strong presence, so I felt comfortable walking at night as a solo woman traveller. The hotel was reasonable for the price, I had a terrace room and that part was fantastic with views of the cathedral and plaza. The room was reasonably appointed, a few maintenance issues which were quickly rectified. The bar next door played music so loudly on one of the nights that my room vibrated, but the rest of the week it was fine. If you're a poor sleeper I suggest asking for a room away from the bar next door.

El hotel Valladolid se encuentra muy bien hubicado en la ciudad de Morelia, frente a la catedral y está mur cerca al merca de dulces y a cenadurias. El servicio al cliente fue excelente y las instalaciones estaban en buen estado. Lo único que no nos gusta era que cuando usábamos el aire acondicionado después de unas horas este empezaba a lanzar hielo o agua. Fuere de esto recomiendo el hotel.

I never ever write reviews, but I think it’s necessary. This places has bedbugs and rooms have no windows. It feels like you are in prison. They never change the sheets it’s just awful. Don’t waste your money. I still have bites all over my arms

Hotel location is great, walking distance to historic center of Morelia. Hotel is in the process of being renovated and it will be great when done. Some work being done now.

Unfortunately, our family did experience a hiccup with staff and handling of our property. My mother had her property damaged by staff and when it was brought to the management attention he and the staff did not accept any responsibility for the damaged property, furthermore was very condescending stating “It was your choice to stay here.” Management refused to compensate my mother for her damaged property. This experience was disappointing.

Best location
Best location in Morelia! It is within walking distance from all major sightseeing landmarks in town. The staff members at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The breakfast included in the booking has many options on the rooftop dinning room. We had an interior room. Although there are no Windows, it is very quiet and we slept very well. The WiFi is good as well. Highly recommend the hotel and will stay here again if we return in the future.

It was not a good experience. At the moment I made the check in or trying to made the check in, it was 15:05, the persons, responsables for reception, were not polite. They said me that there were not rooms available, even if I had a reservation. They, in a impolite way, asked me to wait 40 minutes out side of the hotel, at more than 90 degrees of temperature. But the worse event was that people who was coming without reservation were immediately attended, and given them the option to choose their room, something never happen to me, even if it is supposed I had chosen my room already at the moment I made my reservation, they gave me the room they wanted. A room which window view was a wall I could touch. My wife almos get a crisis of claustrofobia.

I offer you an apology, in high occupancy season, when requesting a specific room, on occasions the previous client has left at the last minute, it is very possible that this has happened, however we have waiting areas and we let our guests know that they give us the opportunity to carry out the cleaning properly with the necessary times for disinfection, especially if it is from a terrace or balcony or a double with a view, I appreciate your understanding, the staff we have at this time is new, the previous one was sanctioned and is already being followed up and staff training again, to avoid a lack of empathy and attention. Slightly overpaying for what you get (by Mexican standards; it’s cheap by American standards) except for the location. Most rooms are interior rooms—no natural ventilation at all. Hardcore use of strongly smelling cleaning chemicals, bad if you have allergies. Good breakfast included. Parking is MX$80 extra per night. Hotel not at all handicap accessible as the elevator does not reach the ground floor—you must climb a steep flight of stairs to reach the elevator on the second floor.
