La Chiusa is beautiful, staff are very nice and the location fantastic; views from the property and situated next to Montifollonico with access to grocery store, pharmacy and super local restaurant (13 Gobbi). Rooms had a fridge but no kettle, coffee maker or even cups or glasses which was odd and would make a big positive difference so that you can make a hot drink or sip your own wine while enjoying the view!
If you’re a foodie you will love the onsite restaurant, but it is a limited menu so a couple of visits will get you through it, but there is so much within sprucing distance you’ll want to get out anyway - so hire a car.

"This hotel is tired. It lacks management (not staff fault), zero information available about the town. Air conditioning did not work in first room or upgraded room. Breakfast served 7.30 to 10 am , at 8.20am the table was bare eg. No eggs, no yoghurt, no other cooked items and very poor selection ..."

"Staff was super friendly and helpful - spoke English for us which was a lifesaver. They also helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations which was an excellent choice. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety and selection. Would have loved to stay longer."
