"Front desk attendant Grace was amazing from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond to help us and even brought extra sheets, etc to our room herself. She answered all questions and was extremely nice, polite and professional. Our king suite was very roomy and clean. The only thing we would have appreciated is a chair. There is more than enough room. Breakfast was good and kids loved the you make waffles with whipped cream and sprinkles!"

"Quiet setting in Lancaster, Va, with property backing up to a creek. Home was extensively furnished with cooking ware, utensils and all of the other items needed. Plenty of coffee and water were available. Very secluded and private. Internet and TV streaming meet all of my needs. Very comfortable and quiet. Country store for sandwiches and drinks only a couple of miles away. I even rode the Car Ferry to save time when traveling to Kilmarnock, Va, for dinner and drinks. FYI, Car Ferry stops running at 5 pm."

"The perfect retreat! An easy walk to the river, this spacious property is nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The owner provides plenty of spices and pots/pans for cooking (which we did a couple nights), and offers lots of books and movies and games, too. We even dined on the back deck. This dog-friendly home gave us the r-n-r we were seeking, and we hope to return again!"
