"Great location, good service, good breakfast.
Room decor is a bit dated, with peeling paint over shower, but otherwise a good bathroom with rain shower and light up mirror over sink"
"Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted.
Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us.
Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....
"We really enjoyed our stay. The local town of Narberth is very quaint with plenty of places to eat and unique shopping. Tenby is close by and we used it as a base for a visit to Skomer Island. It seems there are load of local attractions although we only stayed for a few days so didn't get a chance to appraise these. The staff at Canaston are wonderful and the service was excellent. "
"Great place for a short stay or longer. Super quaint center of town hotel, close to shopping, great cozy vibe, friendly staff and the breakfast included was great. Convenient parking behind hotel. "

"Fantastic stay in a great location. Staff were friendly and the pub on site did delicious food. Breakfast was also great.
Would definitely stay again. Great value "
"Although the restaurant and bar are now closed, the accommodation is excellent, great full Welsh breakfast if required and there is a help yourself bar with a good selection of drinks and comfortable seating, pay on checkout. "
"Spacious accommodation in the Preseli split apartment. Well equipped & comfortable bed. Stunning views & fascinating to watch the House Martins nesting outside bedroom window. Great location. Would definitely stay again "
"Loved everything. Superb breakfast, wonderful hosts nothing too much trouble. Had a very warm welcome.Stayed in lovely accommodation.
Would recommend and would probably come again."
"We managed to book this on Monday to arrive Saturday evening. It’s a well equipped, cosy cottage in a beautiful location. Thoughtful touches such as a pint of milk in the fridge and Welsh cakes to try, a detailed house book and info pamphlets in the draw, importantly the bed was comfortable.
It’s surrounded by views and things to do with varying parts of the coast in easy reach. You’ll not be short of things to do.
We enjoyed a relaxing week in Pembrokeshire with the pooch.

Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained. The corners of the bedroom behind the bedside tables were dirty and dusty, bedroom also had a smell of damp and mould.
Cobwebs throughout the property. Plates and mugs were put away dirty. The towel I was provided had a stain on it, possibly bleach but unknown.
Beside this the stay was lovely and would definitely come back to this charming cottage set in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

A cosy cottage for 5 at the foothills of the Preseli Mountains

"A lovely few days away in a great location. Town of Newport just a few mins drive away and the nearby beach provided a great walk for all of use, including our dog. Our rating is based on the following points which are important to note when booking. The garden is not secure as described. This meant we were unable to let our dog into the garden without a lead. This was a little frustrating as we had specifically booked a cottage with a secure garden with the dog in mind. Whilst the cottage is cosy, there is insufficient seating in the living area if everyone who is staying wants to sit on a comfortable seat. If there are three of you it’s great!. The lack of a visitors book meant that it took us some time to fathom the log burner and cooker. And the lack of fire irons made having a fire somewhat tricky. Overall a lovely stay which would be five stars if the points above are addressed. "
