If you are looking to escape to the woods and a lake this is your place. We are 25 minutes from Binghamton, NY and 35 minutes to Elk Mountain PA. Our place is comfortable and is your home for the time you are here. Complete house with lake access from the yard, kayaks, canoe, paddle boats, row boat and more. There is a pavilion, firepit and BBQ grill at your disposal. Peace and quiet with no motors allowed on the lake. Especially loved how comfortable the bed was. We were very tired following a busy week before arriving. Wish we had more energy to enjoy the lake. We did have a nice trip around the lake in their paddle boat and my husband enjoyed a quick swim. We were very entertained by all the wildlife, including a bald eagle. Respected our privacy, answered any and all of our questions or needs. Property is beautiful, great fishing in the lake. Quiet surroundings, and other things to explore with a short drive. The cabin was very pretty and cozy. Everything that we needed was there except for meals. The lake was beautiful and the fishing was great. The owners were available if we needed anything and were very nice but in no way intrusive. ##### Donna M. The house has everything you need inside and out. I really enjoyed fishing from a kayak in the private lake early in the morning before I checked out. The owners, Kevin & Tami plus the neighbors couldn't have been nicer. It certainly felt secluded, but you are only 20 minutes from downtown Montrose. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Greg S. Unfortunately, our stay was short and the weather turned rainy, but everything you need to play on the water was available. I loved the decor in the home, and it brought back memories of trinkets my family owned. The owner was very nice and quick to respond when we had questions. ##### Carmen F.
