Cozy Chic was perfect for what we wanted. It was in a really great location, close to bus stops, to the metro, to the train station (where we went to rent a car for a couple of days), to shopping, and to several places we wanted to visit, including the Musee des Beaux Arts, Mont Royal, and McGill University. There were many, many places to eat close by, almost too many, and we didn’t know how to choose among them. The place is in the middle of a university area, so there was lots of activity. Some nights were noisy with revelers, but that wasn’t too bad. The only issue was that the Boulevard for several blocks was completely torn up and was blocked off at most corners. It is major road and utility construction, so it could go on for a while. Construction started up at 6:30-7:00 a.m. every weekday morning, so there was no sleeping in. Just be aware; really there’s nothing that could’ve been done about it. Building security was generally good, and the building is literally right next door to a police station!
