Beachfront Cabin with Lake Views & Harry Potter Room

  • Welcome to the 'Peapod Cabin'. Our cabin comes loaded with everything you'll need for a stay with just your partner, your family or friends. Enjoy lake views from the Porch, Deck, Living Room, Kitchen and downstairs bedroom. Savor a long bubble bath in the jetted tub. Stay cozy reading next to the fireplace. The options are endless for your stay.

    **Summer stays must be a full Sun-Sun rental**

    In the springtime enjoy views of the birds coming back to the open waters of the lake. We love watching the loons and the eagles in the mornings from our screened in porch. Head on over to Albion Park just down the road for picnics, hiking, or just large open areas for your kids to burn some energy. Grab a local bottle of wine from a nearby winery and sip it by the fireplace with your fresh chocolates from the local candy store.

    Ah Summertime. The best time for the lake! We have a beach/swimming area right on our property for you to enjoy. A pontoon is available for rent (Must be 25 years or older) and we have a dock if you'd like to bring your own boat as well. We have water toys, sand toys, a canoe, paddle boards and more for you to enjoy outdoors. Be sure to get your s'more fix in at night around the fire while you listen to the night sounds of the lake.

    In the fall, you must get out and enjoy the colors! Take a hike, grab your camera for photos of the trees around the lake, build leaf piles in the yard. There are a few apple orchards nearby that offer both kids and adult activities. Grab some apples and head back to the cabin to bake a homemade pie and sip on a fresh jug of local apple cider.

    In the wintertime our cabin includes ice skates in numerous sizes (we can't guarantee we have your size), sleds, a pair of cross country skis and snow toys. Want to try your hand at ice fishing? We have a pop-up ice house available at no extra charge. Want to stay inside and relax during your stay? No problem. We have 6 smartTV's with wifi to catch up on show-binging, a jetted tub to soak in for hours, a fireplace with reading options from baby to grandma and warm & plush throws with plenty of mugs to fill with hot chocolate or coffee.

Perfect Spot

This lake house had everything we were looking for. Fit our group of 8 perfectly. Loved the fact that it was close enough to the cities but still seemed “up north”. Kids had a great time catching fish right off the dock.

Family Vacation

This property fit our family really well. We had 11 people and everyone had a bed or matress. The beach was a great swimming area. I would recommend renting the pontoon. We used it for boatinf and fiahing.

Great Vacation Rental

I hosted my bachelorette party at Kati’s house in Annandale and it was fabulous! We rented the pontoon for the weekend and received very helpful & thorough instructions for use. Very clear beachfront and water was great for swimming. Accommodations were clean and provided local recommendations pointed us to Thayer’s for a very fun Saturday night dinner. Hosts were very responsive to questions. Would recommend!

A lovely week!

We had a great time here! 11 of us (ages 5 to 75) enjoyed the cabin. It really is beautifully remodeled. Communication was great leading up to and during our stay. It was a bit cold and rainy during our stay but we enjoyed pontoon rides between rain showers and the kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking/paddle boarding despite the weather. We also enjoyed two trips into Annandale to get ice cream and stroll along the little Main Street and play in the town park.

The lake !

We enjoyed being outside on the lake! The kayak and paddle boards and paddle boat were awesome! The inside screen porch was full of spiders and cobwebs we vacuumed out! The Bess were horrible but with the heat and dry weather didn’t help ! I of course got stung ! Thanks bunches!

Week at lake for family

We all enjoyed the lake cabin . We are a family of 16. Ages 6 months to 81 years . Only 5 adults stayed over night the remaining love close on Minn. we came from CA and AZ . The lake is beautiful . Water was low . We have a family member with a good size boat we could enjoy for the day . Public launch is close by . Cabin it self was perfect for larger and small groups . Every thing needed was on site. We would stay again . We loved the porch for views with no bugs . Great place

Family Get together.

The inside of cabin was clean and neat. Family really enjoyed the padel boat, kayaks and padel boards. Pan fishing was great. We enjoyed the pontoon but the extra charge was too much, should be included with cabin rental. Owner stated there would be firewood on scene, there was none. The gas grill was so dirty and rusty it was unusable, I bought a new one and used that. Over all it was a nice week but I think the price is too high for what you get.

Girls weekend

Overall we had a great weekend! The pontoon was great! The lake is quiet and the outdoor space was awesome. A few cleaning issues. Seemed like it hadn’t been used in a while. The outside was covered in Cobb webs and the enclosed porch was too. There was also a hornets nest under the porch so we couldn’t enjoy the rocking chairs. The dish washer leaked so we didn't feel comfortable using it. The level of clean inside was not great. Very dusty/cob webs everywhere. Refrigerator was dirty too. The house was otherwise very comfortable and updated. Beds were super comfy. Overall I would stay again but they need to find a new cleaning service :)

Well Worth The Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice, clean and plenty of room for 8 of us. The lake view was pretty and relaxing. I wasn’t a fan of the firmness of our bed (too hard) but I would imagine it would be hard to make everyone happy in this regard. My only real complaint would be the internet tv. The tv in the living room didn’t want to work most of the time. It kept losing connection to the network. With it being Thanksgiving weekend we were hoping to have the games on. We had to play them on an iPad that had its own cellular service. In the big scheme of things this is a small complaint. Great communication by the owner. She was very nice. We are overall very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again and recommend this location!
