Use the front or back yard or enjoy any space in the apartment. 1909 is the right side of the duplex looking from Madison Avenue. There is gravel parking in front and additional parking in the back — use whichever is easier. Guests enter from the front, up two or three steps onto the small front porch, where the electronic deadbolt is on the front door. There is also a secondary rear entrance from the kitchen. Your code is released in your digital guidebook once your rental agreement is signed, your check-in form is complete, and your balance is paid.

We love how this apartment blends original 1935 character with comfortable updates. You'll walk across hardwood floors, pass built-in bookcases, and settle into Bohemian-inspired décor. Because the living room and dining room are separate, one person can take a work call or unwind with a show while everyone else spreads out. It is a single-level home with a private entrance, so you get the whole place to yourselves. Heating and air conditioning keep it comfortable in every season, and fast Wi-Fi handles remote work and streaming. There is a dedicated workspace for when the laptop has to come out.

LIVING & DINING
Our comfortable living room has plenty of seating and a Smart TV for movie nights. Next to it, the dining room has a table with seating for 4. It works for family dinners, board games or spreading out a laptop and a morning coffee.

KITCHEN
You'll find a fully stocked kitchen with newer appliances: refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven and microwave. We provide cooking basics, dishes and silverware, a coffee maker with coffee, and wine glasses for the end of the day. A washer and dryer are included, which helps on longer stays or when you're traveling with kids.

OUTDOORS & PETS
Your pets are welcome here. There is a grassy outdoor area for them to stretch their legs, and outdoor furniture so you can sit outside with them. You can use the front or back yard, whichever suits you.

A few things to know before you book:

PRIMARY GUEST
The guest who books must be at least 21 years old and must stay at the apartment for the entire reservation. The primary guest is responsible for everyone in their group and any visitors.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking. This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same. It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage. It takes about two minutes, and there is no app to download and no account or password to create. We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete.

THE APARTMENT
This is one side of a two-unit building. 1909 is the right side looking from Madison Avenue. Other guests may be staying next door during your reservation, and you'll share a wall with the other unit, but your apartment is private and exclusively yours.

HOUSE RULES
• Maximum 4 overnight guests
• Quiet hours 9 pm to 8 am
• No parties or events
• No smoking or vaping
• Pets welcome: up to 2 (dogs 60 lb or under; some breeds are restricted for insurance). $50 pet fee per stay covers all pets. Please add pets to your reservation.
• The fireplaces are not for use
• No commercial photography or filming without our written approval (see below)
• Please lock the front door each time you leave. It does not lock automatically

DURING YOUR STAY
Our cleaning, maintenance, and guest-support team works hard to make your stay great. Airbnb expects guests to be considerate and respectful of hosts and everyone they meet during a stay, and we ask the same toward our team, vendors, and neighbors. Concerns are always welcome. Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment of anyone on our team will be reported to Airbnb.

Please tell us about any damage as soon as it happens so we can sort it out fairly. Please keep total people in the apartment, including daytime visitors, within the guest limit. Please leave the exterior cameras and the indoor noise monitor connected and uncovered.

Commercial photography or filming is only allowed with our written approval before your stay. Approval requires a commercial general liability policy of at least $1,000,000 naming Dreamline Suites as an additional insured. All house rules, guest limits, and parking rules still apply.

GETTING IN & PARKING

PETS
The $50 pet fee is a flat fee per stay and covers all pets. Please crate pets when they're left alone, keep them off beds and furniture, clean up after them, and keep them on a leash outdoors. Service animals are always welcome, with no fee.

GOOD TO KNOW
A washer and dryer are included. The outdoor walkways use repurposed materials and can be uneven or slick, so please watch your step outside.

EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECKOUT
Available on request when the cleaning schedule allows. $20 per hour, one-hour minimum. Message us and we'll check with our cleaning team.

BEFORE CHECKOUT
Before you head out, please leave used dishes in the kitchen sink or dishwasher, gather used towels in the tub, put trash in the kitchen bin, take your food and belongings, and turn off the lights and A/C. Our cleaning team handles the rest.

LOCAL RULES
City of Montgomery Ordinance 29-2026 (short-term rentals):
• Maximum occupancy is 2 per bedroom plus 2 (this apartment's 4-guest limit is within that)
• Park only in designated spaces. No buses, RVs, or commercial vehicles
• Amplified music is allowed indoors only
• No weddings, receptions, parties, or events
• Trash bins must be kept out of public view except on collection day
The city fines the operator $250 for a first violation and $500 for each one after. If a guest's violation results in a city fine, we will request reimbursement through Airbnb's Resolution Center with the citation attached.

SECURITY & MONITORING
For the safety and security of our guests and the property, motion-activated cameras are installed on the exterior only. They record audio and video and monitor entrances and outdoor areas. No cameras monitor any indoor area. An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only. It does not record audio or video.
