The house is beautiful in a very contemporary Latin American style. There were a few discrepancies between the listing and actual property. The most important being that there was no air conditioner but instead an evaporative cooler which doesn’t really cool down the house, especially the bedrooms. There were quite a bit of insects, especially ants and flies but it’s Costa Rica so kind of expected. It could use some ant traps in the house and a fly swatter. Property is beautiful. The owner was easy to communicate with and made every attempt to fix problems that arose during our stay. Good wifi connection.A little out of town but if you have a car then it’s not an issue. This house and property was beautiful and well maintained, it had everything we needed. The outdoor area was lovely and both kids and adults enjoyed the pool, basketball, and grassy areas. The beds were comfortable and towels and linens were generous. This property is tucked away from the main bustle of town and requires a car. We did have dog visitors (who were all adorable) and dogs did bark in the night, however, you are likely to experience this no matter the location. It did not deter us and we would not hesitate to stay here again. ##### Justina H. There was an electric water heater in the bathroom for shower and somehow one was working in one bathroom but other one was throwing current even if you try to turn the shower head towards you.
