A pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas, surrounded by a landscaped garden and a view of distant hills.

MASSERIA DEL CARBOJ

Menfi

10/10 Excellent

MASSERIA DEL CARBOJ was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The setting is beautiful, with a fantastic pool area and stunning views over the vineyards. Dinner at sunset was a memorable experience, and the food and wine were excellent. We met Marco at dinner and again the following morning. He was friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about both the property and the local area. When we checked out, he gave us a personalised guide for the next stage of our journey, packed with...

Great single afternoon and night stay. We had a quad room really big. Good sized bathroom. Air con. Veranda. Small pool and jacuzzi just behind us. Pool was super clean showers available. Swim hats must be worn. There was a larger pool closer to reception with a small paddling pool for toddlers. Reception offers olive oil tasting. Has a decent bar great staff. Really friendly and helpful, all a credit to the company. Restaurant was very good. Limited choices but good value for set...

B&B Il Tempio di Hera

Castelvetrano

10/10 Excellent

An overnight stay to visit the nearby Archeological park, but I wish I could've stayed longer here, as hotel was ideally placed for both the park and short walk to the beach etc. Really big and comfortable room, with clean, modern bathroom and great shower. Breakfast buffet was very good with a decent selection of items. The staff were really helpful and made recommendations on places to eat and how to best get around the park. Lots of space for car parking outside the hotel, and it is just...

B&B Sotto le Stelle

Caltabellotta

10/10 Excellent

We'd go back to Sicily just to stay here again. Loved it!! The welcome was wonderful, the rooms are charming, romantic, fun and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner at the restaurant was 5 star. What a location to! The views out over land and see from the balconies (including roof top) are a show stopper in themselves but the town is also beautiful with every corner giving another wow moment of classic Sicily. Affordable luxury. If you get the chance, go. Thank you!

Sarah

A modern hotel room with a separate dining area, a glass-enclosed shower, a large bathtub, and a white sink.

La Paloma Blanca Hotel

Sciacca

10/10 Excellent

First rate experience. The staff could not have been more helpful, kind, attentive and welcoming. The room was most comfortable with good facilities including newly refurbished bathroom. Balcony with view of the park opposite was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious with freshly cooked eggs to order and a wide range of foods, regularly replenished. Limited on street parking. Central location. Delightful all round. Recommended!

Keith

A bedroom with a large bed, two bedside tables, a nightstand, and a wall mural of a wheat field.

Belice Rooms

Nigel

An outdoor seating area with a view of the beach, a table with chess pieces, and a fruit bowl.

Verdura Resort

Sciacca

10/10 Excellent

Excellent hotel to relax, and if you play golf it is ideal, but you do need a car if you wish to visit any of the 'sights' on the island. Great setting, excellent rooms, staff all well trained and all provide a 5 star service. Ignore the whinging 'reviews' who complain about the prices, or trivia. This is a quality 5 star hotel in a wonderful setting - it isn't Butlins, Center Parcs, or McDonalds - so if you have noisy demanding sprogs - leave them at home.
