"I highly recommend this hotel for the hospitable staff, beautiful setting, quiet yet accessible location and wonderful buffet. The rooms are super clean, and the hotel has a lovely outdoor seating area. The bathroom has a powerful shower and aromatic liquid soaps. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the beds and pillows were uncomfortable for us. Be prepared for extra firm mattresses, and flat pillows, one per person. I would come here again, but honestly didn’t have the greatest sleeps. The a/c worked fine. Overall, this is a lovely hotel. We really appreciated the superior service, extra beach towels and pastries upon arrival."

"The hotel is a short walk up the hill from the quieter end of Monterosso. Near a grocery store. The first walk up felt daunting, but by the second day we were happy to be up away from the crowds. "The hotel lobby vibe is very energetic and positive. The staffs are amazing and helpful. My room is on the first floor with no lift access and they help us to bring up to our room and carry it down for check out. I had an injury of my wrist and needed ice compression and they were very kind to give me the ice pack for free. However, room is slightly cramped for 2 30” luggages"

"The hotel is perfectly located just off the beach. It does not have the feel of a beach hotel but of a calm air-conditioned respite. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good, but needs more spark. The front patio fountain and many chairs created a warm atmosphere. The hotel seemed to have more vibrance than other Monterosso al mare lodging options. Perhaps the most essentially located and comfortable hotels in all of Cinque Terre."
