The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "Located minutes to the beach, in the heart of old town. A few minute walk to the train station or the other beach. Lots of restaurants within minutes, lots of stores within minutes. Clean and comfortable."
"We stayed July 13-16, 2025 and we were delighted with the service and friendliness of ALL the staff- they were like a second family. Andrea was very helpful, and accommodating and friendly. Let us have a choice of rooms, and made himself available at any hour. The room was nice, clean and big. The bathroom was also nice with the biggest and best shower of any place we stayed during our 2 weeks in Italy.
Very easy to access from the parking garages, quiet, clean and comfortable for a wonderful experience. If I ever make it back to the Cinque Terre I will definitely stay at Albergo Al Carugio again."

"This is a wonderful apartment! I simply can not say enough kind words about the hosts. Davide communicated so well before our stay- suggesting restaurants and things to do, options for getting to the home, and even offered assistance with our bags and taxis! We did the sunset cruise of the towns with Fish & Chill that Davide recommended and it was fabulous! The apartment is clean, cute and worked wonderfully for us. It is located right near many restaurants, the beach and train station. If there were more stars I would rate this higher! "

"Perfect location. Easy walk to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. Bring light bags, as there area lot of stairs to this place, and all over town. The trains and church bells were drown out with the fan, and were mostly quiet. "
