Good location. Most staff was friendly and helpful; but the stopper in the bathtub didn't work and when I reported it, nothing was done about it. Also, tubs did not have non-slip mats; and I saw many elderly guests staying there. Free coffee and parking are great.

Great location and spacious room. Our room was warm and stuffy initially but keeping the windows helped tremendously. Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
Overall a nice property. We only stayed one night, so did not take advantage of the amenities, but noticed that other guest seemed happy.
