Only thing was it was a bit challenging to find the ‘front desk’ to check in (not the typical counter you expect to see at a hotel) so took us a little bit to check in etc but was such a lovely place to stay"

"One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - hotel is an old palace and the whole place is so unique. Only thing was it was a bit challenging to find the ‘front desk’ to check in (not the typical counter you expect to see at a hotel) so took us a little bit to check in etc but was such a lovely place to stay"

"This property has everything you need , the staff are all kind and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and have all you require. We were sad to leave. The on site parking was safe and secure. A walk uphill and you are in the old town with a map and walking tour supplied by the Hotel. The breakfast was generous and tasty with helpful staff present. I thoroughly recommend the Hotel and would happily book it again. "

"My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night stay. The warmth and helpfulness of the staff made our stay especially memorable. The spacious double room was exceptionally clean, with modern decor. "Unique and wonderful! We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail. The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever! "

"Everything very good uphill walk to Centro but very nice restaurants and lots sights to see. Nice town. Parking easy which is great. Adjoining restaurant was awesome. Sergio looked after us. Fantastic pasta and focaccia appy. Amazing steak of the highest quality. This restaurant was highlight of the hotel stay. All else good. We would stay again. I carefully read reviews and make decisions based on them. This place is worth booking. "
