The staff at Paradise plum was awesome and the house was just the right size for our group. If you have the opportunity to stay 7 days, its worth it that way you have a driver, chef and house assistant. They helped us plan excursions, and was was very accommodating even the unexpected ones to a hospital. Parents had a condo there until last year. Needed to get back to unwind. Able to take myself, wife and our 2 adult sons. It was wonderful. Our days were spent relaxing, eating great food made by the chef, time on the beach and in the pool. Napping and playing cribbage. Watching F1 on TV. Banana Daiquiris before dinner. There were 10 of us and we are a handful. But the staff was excellent! We never wanted for anything. By the end of the trip the staff felt more like family. The meals weee great too. Javaan “put his foot” in every meal. I can honestly say his meals were better than the ones we had out. The house was always clean even when we made ourselves a late night snack and made a bit of a mess. I would highly recommend this property and when I come back I’ll definitely be staying here. Rose Hall provided security and proximity to the resources of Montego Bay and interesting house tours. The staff were wonderful - Nikki adjusted to our relaxed approach to life, Javon is an excellent cook, Stewart (sp?) showed us around his gardens, Patricia kept us neat and tidy and forgave us for making our own beds, and Shavar the driver was an outstanding and very engaging guide - a real asset. We brought USD for end of trip tips but to reimburse for the food for two families with very hungry young adults. We wound up accompanying Nikki and Javon food shopping to use our credit cards. This (understandably) slightly alarmed them but we assured them that we meant no disrespect to their roles and would not use our involvement as a reason to not tip generously. We had the good fortune of excellent weather until the last day, and the construction of a new house nearby only became a nuisance in the last few days when an automated hammer started up. When booking, John was so professional, friendly and informative and always got right back to you with any questions or concerns - no stones were left unturned. The staff, Shavar our Driver was great! He offered suggestions on things to do/places to see and was so friendly and we totally felt safe the entire stay. Nikita, our Butler-I can't say enough good things about her, she always seem to know exactly when we were thirsty, haha! She was so pleasant and was on point and kept things running like a well oiled machine! Kinisha, our Housekeeper makes up a mean bed! She kept everything clean, and turned down our beds every night with bottled water at the bedside, and again so pleasant and even keeled! Javon, our Chef! Oh my my my, every meal more delicious than the last one, we were at that table on time for every meal, haha! And lastly Stewart, our Groundskeeper kept everything looking vibrant and lovely. I highly recommend staying at Rose Hall, Paradise Plum Villa, we will definitely be back next year. The Villa is beautifully decorated and so serene. The grounds were lovely, it really is a slice of paradise! As they say, the first time you're a guest and the second time, you're family. The pool, the food, the staff was fantastic. We even had a yoga instructor come on site a few days, arranged flawlessly. The driver, LaCells, was great-helped us with acivities and so convenient. Blue Hole was great, the luminescent night swim so fun, snorkling too. The beach is just ok, but a nice change of pace but dont waste a ton of time there. We do this trip every year to refresh our souls and refuel our energy for work. This place did the trick. Everything we could have ever wanted in a destination was here. It all started with the amazing greeting from Ms. P (chef), Momma D (housekeeper), Derrick (butler) and Shavar (driver). The house itself was better than you see in the pictures and would have been great by itself.... but, the staff was amazing all week from the moment we arrived to the day we left. They put the experience over the top and felt like friends and family during the trip. The picturesque view from the house and pool was incredible. All 10 people on our trip gave this location a 10 out of 10 rating on everything.... especially the food cooked by Ms. P! We all had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to others. Romain, Nikita and Shavar were exceptional and certainly made our vacation! The following is in no way a complaint, and it sounds ridiculous to even say. The only part that was a little confusing to me/us, is that we were told there was a Chef, Butler and Housekeeper, we only had the Chef and Housekeeper. Shavar was the driver (was included as part of our booking for 2019), and while he seemed to play the role of butler often, we thought there was a specific person devoted to things like this. Mainly, I think some of us felt bad interrupting Romain for small things like drinks, or other questions we may have. Again, NOT A COMPLAINT, everything was great! If you're on the fence for booking this property, DO IT, you will not be disappointed. A big thank you to Romain, Nikita & Shavar! PS, John was very easy to communicate with and responsive. The area and villa were absolutely beautiful, peaceful and safe to stay. The staff at the villa were exceptional to work and deal with throughout our stay. We got to know them very well, and they were all very friendly and helpful with any questions we had regarding our stay in Jamaica. The villa was clean, the food was phenomenal, the music just perfectly soothing, and the ride to and from the town - perfectly comfortable/clean. The only suggestion a few of us have, is to perhaps provide the staff with a larger balance of money so that they have the option of stocking up on food/beverages for a group prior to them arriving. I provided a list of food/drinks prior to our arrival, expecting that most of it would be there. The staff explained that they only have a set budget at the beginning so what they could pick up was limited. This would of saved us having to go to the grocery store upon our arrival, so that we could pick up the rest of the groceries. Some people didn't mind going to the grocery store - others did mind. We ran into some issues with getting into Montego Bay from Miami due to weather ( don't fly American airlines). The staff was EXTREMELY accommodating and assisted with getting members of our group in safely as if we were a member of their family! Now lets talk about the OUTSTANDING staff at this beautiful home. Ms. P (chef) hands down the BEST Jamaican food I've tasted! She listened to our request and made suggestions to ensure we got just what we wanted. Everything was prepared FRESH, and I mean FRESH!! Derrick (butler) was AMAZING! He knew exactly what we needed before asking. Sharvar (driver) was the best tour guide ever! Suggested the best places to shop, and entertain. Blue Hole was amazing!! Momma D kept the house clean as if we were staying at Four Seasons! All rooms were air conditioned with the most comfortable beds! Every morning while at breakfast, we talked about how great everyone slept. The house came equipped with everything we needed from pool floats, to board/card games. I like that the house is placed on a golf course with guards at the front gate 24/7\. From time of booking to our departure everything went as smooth as a baby's bottom (except the horrible service from American Airlines, we will NEVER fly with them again). So, in total, look no further for a private home in Jamaica. Paradise Plum has all that you need and MORE! You have my word! This home has now been voted into our ritual trips. ##### Mia A.
