With two boys ages 6 and 4, this was the perfect spot for our active family. We took advantage of exploring in the stream, fishing in the lake and playing on the beach nearby plus enjoyed the proximity to great hiking trails, nearby restaurants and the University of the South. Btw, each property is separated by acres of beautiful forestry and long-winding private drives. You won’t hear anything that isn’t provided by nature. Property manager Whitney was outstanding, and provided quick response to a question we had! Private lake was a bonus so take your fishing gear! This lovely, private place is small but more than spacious enough for a couple or maybe three people. The woods are gorgeous and we saw lots of deer roaming throughout, but it's still close enough that you could walk or bike to stores and the town without much trouble.
