"I would highly recommend Les Magnolias. We stayed in the apartment and it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the river, which is great for enjoying a glass of local wine in the evenings. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home. The resident cats are friendly too. Breakfast is well catered and if you have the apartment and want to cook, there is a supermarket 2 minutes away by foot. I also highly recommend some of the bakery’s in town as we had the best almond croissants ever!...

"Wow! This gite does what it says on the tin! Views in the pictures do not really do it justice. The Kingsize bed had ample room, even for my tall husband (6'4) the sofa was really comfy. "We checked in late but Christophe was waiting for us. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very quaint, typically French which was just what we wanted. Our room was fabulous, beautifully decorated and welcoming (warm and cosy). Breakfast was continental and filled us up for the day ahead with breads/yoghurts/cereals. "This was the second time we stayed at gite la grave haute sud and it was just as amazing as the previous time. It’s a great spacious house with a beautiful garden and view. Very calm and private nook in the lovely Dordogne. The location is perfect if you want to discover everything the Dordogne has to offer or even for a day trip to Bordeaux. Felix was as attentive and nice as ever. We definitely want to visit a third time! "
