"The pub on the ground floor was very good. The breakfast was freshly cooked and was excellent. The evening meal was good but spoilt by the plates being cold. I dont understand why kitchens can not serve food on hot plates so that you dont have to rush before it gets cold. The carpet up to our first floor room was disgusting. Full of holes and very worn. I paid for a deluxe room but it was pretty old fashioned (although the size was good and the TV was large). The bathroom was fine but the bath needs a mat to prevent you slipping when you using the shower. I suppose you get what you pay for, but I dont think this hotal is 4 star."
