The juxtaposition of life and death makes it very unique. The city has many historic tombs from the Islamic-era. Tombs are structures often with a few rooms and even a garden. Many inhabitants of the city were caretakers that moved there with their families and others followed suit. They also helped organize tours for me, including the Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), and Alexandria, and every arrangement was smooth and professional. Airport pickup and drop-off service is great and very friendly. Communication was seamless. They were very responsive through WhatsApp and email, which made planning easy and stress-free. Since I was visiting from the USA, they even provided all the necessary documents and letters for my e-visa, which was a huge help.
