About this property

FeWo Siebenstern Fernblick am Hohen Venn

  • The Siebenstern am Hohen Venn holiday rental is located in the picturesque Eifel village of Monschau-Kalterherberg, right on the border with the Belgian part of the Eifel. Working from home is very easy thanks to a secure internet connection at the large wooden table. The kind housekeeper will hand you the keys. The holiday rental is furnished to a very high standard. Tasteful furniture provides comfort in this spacious apartment. You’ll find two pillows per bed: one measuring 80 x 80 cm and the other 40 x 80 cm. The apartment is on the ground floor and features a large balcony in a quiet location. There’s a projector for gazing at the starry sky, singing bowls, and much more (guestbook, website). With the “Südblick” holiday rental across the street, the apartment offers the perfect setting for both a romantic weekend and a multigenerational trip.

The village itself is a typical village in the High Fens: steep-pitched roofs, half-timbered houses, and ancient windbreaks characterise the town. The parish church of St. Lambertus rises with its twin towers and is known as the “Eifel Cathedral.”

There’s: the home-style restaurant Zum Zien, the modern restaurant “Der Hirsch,” the pizzeria Lo Stivalo, the Moss bakery with a café, and the superbly stocked supermarket “Stolle.” Free snow-rafting tube available at the holiday rental for the mountain meadow :-) homeoffice Eifeloffice

Especially for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, forest swimming enthusiasts, anglers, and more, these holiday rentals are the perfect starting point for a truly extraordinary holiday. Hiking in the beautiful Eifel is a wonderful experience in every season: in spring, the daffodil meadows enchant the Fuhrtsbach and Rur valleys; in summer, the scent of blooming plants along the trail beckons; in fall, you can spot deer in nearby hunting grounds with the local nature expert... the Hohe Moor in the autumnal light, and much more. In winter, the frozen landscape of the Hohe Venn beckons.

Monschau offers plenty of variety: the Monschau Classic, races at Spa-Francorchamps, the whitewater race, the legendary Monschau Marathon, Halloween activities, and especially the uniquely romantic Christmas market.

XXL holiday rental: even tall people can feel at home and relax on comfortable chairs around the antique wooden table.

A fantastic stay in a spacious, clean apartment

The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. The entire procedure of booking, payment, check-in and check-out went very smooth. We had the apartment facing north which was absolutely fabulous with a clear view over the fields and woodlands. The owners are very friendly, making sure that we felt really at home. As we like to walk, the owner prepared several maps for us to orient, and even provided extra trails and a book once she found out that we liked a certain area.

Vielen Dank!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in idyllischer Umgebung

Tolle, ruhige Lage, wunderschöner Ausblick - Erholung pur

Tolle Wohnung in ruhiger Höhenlage
