Very friendly and helpful staff, some of them standout so much that I needed to learned their names to mention them in review... Katia, ( always gave a kind word for my daughter and made her feel at home by noticing her pattern of food, my daughter doesnt speak italian), Enza ( she was on the top of our food arrangements) 2 men called Vito, very helpful and they made the best coffees. We were extremely please with the room as it had 2 toilets/shower rooms and our room had a balcony with sea view to died for.... I cant wait to go in Summer. Best deal, it is to rent a car, as this place is 11 minutes from the mains places.

This is a beautiful property, well situated to serve as a base for exploring nearby Puglia towns (Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo, etc.). Property is relatively new and our room was a suite - quite nice. Because we visited in November, we could not take advantage of the large pool (which is situated some distance from the rooms). Also, all dining during our stay was indoors. We had dinner one night in the onsite restaurant, which was good. The breakfast buffet was as expected for a property of this quality. Free parking is available in the onsite lot. We had a few issues, as follows: (1) the property is a bit off the beaten track, located on a very narrow country road, and was a bit difficult to locate with Apple/Google Maps, (2) at the time of our visit, the heating system worked but not the A/C (apparently it's one or the other), so we kept the window open. Unfortunately, there is a nearby property that appears to house a (barking) dog kennel and multiple roosters - it was noisy early in the am. The staff at the front desk and dining room were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Despite our few issues, we recommend this beautiful property for stays in the area.

This hotel is located adjacent to the Bari Airport. We stayed one night prior to our return flights to the US from Bari. The hotel is the equivalent to an airport Sheraton in the US (that's a good thing; we didn't know what to expect at a small city airport like Bari). The room was quite clean. The hotel has free underground parking and a 24-hour on-demand shuttle to the airport (2 min away). We drove into downtown Bari for dinner (worth doing) about 30 minutes away, and then returned our rental car to the airport, using the shuttle to get back to the hotel and return us to the airport very early the next morning to catch our 6:20am flight. The hotel is a good choice if convenience to the airport is needed.

Vecchio Mulino feels like a relic of a time past, but it's worth the stay. The staff is fantastic, the location is odd (right next to a train track, on a large road, 5 minutes from town and 5 minutes from the beach), the breakfast sub-par (but included), and the rooms large, with outdated amenities such as a phone built into the night stand. For the price, well worth it, especially during the summer when the beach hotels are full.

"We had a lovely night. It is in a really good position in the old town in the best square for food and drinks, but was not noisy (in April). We had pizza in the hotel restaurant which was good. Staff were lovely. Family room was very nice and big enough for two adults and two large teenagers."
