"Delightful village location. Easy parking, excellent staff but property just needs a little uplift, (a coat of paint would do it and maybe some tiles replaced in swimming pool). Room was spotless, cleaned daily. All staff were very helpful to provide anything we needed.
A pleasure to stay here, hopefully we will be back."

"Wry nice hotel with outstanding staff. Beach is pleasant though a bit of a downhill climb. Pools are very nice. Restaurants are all good, but the Asian restaurant is outstanding. Get the chef’s tasting menu- you won’t be disappointed!"

Stayed in mid May for 4 nights. Overall very pleased with the hotel - really nice location close to beach via a garden and with attractive set of pools. Booked landside rooms - but paid to upgrade to sea view which was well worth the extra. Free wifi throughout - good breakfast - helpful staff.

Great hotel, very central location for Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia. It is small and the breakfast is pretty ordinary but this is a great change from same old, same old larger hotels and the service is first class

Great hotel excellent colleagues who knows how to serve. Wonderful facilities, indoor pool ambience and water needed to be warmer. Would definitely go back.
Excellent food in all restaurants in the hotel, just make sure you ask for a specific weight of lobster from the oriental restaurant. Got a shock at the end of the night with a 100 euro just for the lobster, otherwise food was excellent.

Very lovely clean hotel and clean rooms.
We had asked for two rooms close to each other which the hotel accommodated.
The pool was simple but great and the kids had a great time. Plenty of sun beds without having to battle for space.
Kids also enjoyed the sea.
Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Sausages, eggs and bacon, selection of cold meats and cheeses, fruit and pastry selection and cereals! What more could you want!
Location was also very good to get to local Limassol areas. Car...

Great apartment with everything you need for a long or short stay. Fully equipped kitchen, nice bedroom with amazing storage in fitted wardrobes. Building a bit dull on the outside but inside the flat was superb and very clean. If your driving its just behind the McDonalds on the main road. Theres a great bar on the next block-The Nags Head well worth a visit. The manager Mt Olymbios is a really nice guy. I would recommend this place and will stay here again next time we are in Limasol.

Stayed at the Royal Apollonia for a business trip, and I was extremely impressed with all aspects of my stay. The staff are exceptional in their service and would always oblige any requests I had. The facilities are modern, clean and comfortable, and I was very happy from the moment I checked in, to the moment I checked out. My room was really perfect on the 6th floor with a sea view and view down to the pool as well. Large room, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and a great view to start...

The hotel stuff was very helpful and they accommodated requests they didn't have to according to my booking. So I only have positive comments about my experience.

a great hotel to just kick back and relax. The food whilst initially seems a little pricey, it is well worth every penny as the quality and portion size is excellent. A return taxi into town will cost you 40euro so whilst food and drink is cheaper in town, by the time you add transport cost there is no real point to try and eat elsewhere. besides with a choice of 5 restaurants at the Grand you are spoilt for choice. If there was ever an option to go all inclusive, this hotel would be worth...

A truly wonderful hotel, relaxing, quiet, comfortable, staff were exceptional, food was amazing - my only slight criticism was it would of been nice for a little bit more varied entertainment in the evening. To have the option of paying for drinks after the 12 p.m.

This is our fourth time staying in one of the rooms of this property and honestly once again we had a beautiful time, the room was traditional style so lovely and such a warm and welcoming environment. The location is perfect right in the heart of the village.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, booking us taxis and giving directions and having things like travel adapters and whatever we need. The location is great, a 10 min walk straight down to the beach. The room was spacious and perfect for what you need. The hotel was clean and tidy!

The best area to stay in Moni is along the beachfront, particularly around the Amathus Avenue stretch.
This area is Moni's main tourist hub, offering direct access to the Mediterranean Sea. It's characterised by a mix of upscale hotels, well-maintained beaches, and a promenade superb for strolls. You'll find a good selection of restaurants and cafes lining Amathus Avenue, many with sea views.
For couples seeking a relaxing and pampered getaway, this beachfront strip is ideal. Many hotels here offer private beach access, high-end spa facilities, and fine dining options, allowing for a truly indulgent experience without needing to venture far.
Families will also find the beachfront area highly convenient. The presence of organised beaches with facilities, along with hotels often providing children's pools and activities, makes it easy to enjoy a stress-free holiday.
When is the best time to go to Moni?
The best time to go to Moni is typically during the spring (April to May) or autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, but not excessively hot.
During these shoulder seasons, you'll find comfortable temperatures for exploring the area, with average highs ranging from 20°C to 28°C. This period is great for those who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking or simply relaxing by the sea without the intense heat or larger crowds of summer. The sea is also warm enough for swimming, making it ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape or solo travellers seeking a peaceful break.
The summer months of July and August offer consistently hot, dry weather with temperatures often exceeding 30°C. This peak season is best for those who love high temperatures and want to spend most of their time swimming and sunbathing. Families often find this time suitable as it coincides with school holidays, and the sea is at its warmest for children to enjoy.
Winter, from November to March, is cooler and wetter, with average temperatures around 10°C to 18°C. While you might encounter some rain, it's a good time for those interested in cultural exploration or hiking in the nearby mountains, as the landscape is greener.
