- Relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of the country in this comfortable home. The living area is all on one floor with an open floor plan. Spacious master bedroom and bath. Large kitchen with hardwood floors. Screened back porch and deck with views of the Peaks of Otter. Lovely front porch to sit and enjoy the sun rising over the pond, or cool evenings in the country. Only 5 miles to Smith Mountain Lake with access to boating, swimming and other water sports. Close to Roanoke, Bedford and Lynchburg for shopping, restaurants, museums and theaters. Historical sites nearby include the D-Day Memorial in Bedford and Booker T. Washington National Monument. Appomattox Court House is an hour away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 30 miles away.
