A very pleasant stay at this hotel. Beautiful location, surrounded by the nature, piece and quiet. Our room was really spacious with 2 bathrooms, a big bed with tv, living room with another tv and a kitchen area. The staff was very friendly and always helpful, rooms were cleaned everyday. Overall it's a modern hotel that I truly recommend.

Suite was massive and very modern.located on the top floor of the newer (pure?) building. Pool area was fabulous and the gardens well maintained but unfortunately the spa was closed during our stay after the staff assuring us it was open when I booked..apart from that a very pleasant stay in a stunning location

We have stayed here a number of times, and this has become one of our favorite properties in the Algarve. Inside a huge property (3 kms of road separate you from the main entry to the hotel reception) but still a few kms from the beaches and all the buzz. The rooms are very spacious and with an incredible view to the golf course. Great food, brilliant staff, this is much more that what we expected from a 4* property.

We had a wonderful relaxing week at Vale da Lapa in April with our two young sons. The villa was spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day if you want it to be. The swimming pools are great and the boys loved them. It was quite quiet the week we were there, so we often had them to ourselves. We also used the spa facilities and these were great too. At check in we were welcomed by Joana who was so helpful and recommended places to see. We stayed in room 303, which is one of the external rooms overlooking the pool and you can even see the sea in the distance. Roll had a big balcony. These rooms have steep stairs and aren’t suitable for people with mobility issues. There was a small table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers. Fantastic setting, built into the cliff face. Probably the best views in the whole of The Algarve! Wonderful rooms with extraordinary views out over the sea. Amazing breakfasts, great food and drink during the day. Great staff who treat you like one of the family.

Great little hotel with a nice pool, friendly staff.

We loved this resort. Set in lovely grounds with excellent facilities, we stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was immaculately clean and had everything you needed. The resort was very quiet and most mornings we had sole use of the gym. We opted for the breakfast buffet which provided an excellent spread of food with both hot and cold options. We would definitely go back again in the future

Fantastic apartment and great facilities

The Salema Beach Village ishigh end with top spec properties. The properties are very well built and tastefully (yet simply) decorated. We stayed in Townhouse No.111 which is a 3-bedroom and at the back of the complex, overlooking the pool. Once the pool bar opens it will be next door to this property. Cleaners come in every day (the time varied from 10am on one day to around 5pm on most days) which meant the townhouse was kept spotless. The pool and surrounding area is also spotless as...

Whilst the hotel offers comfortable, clean facilities, it is the staff that truly make this an outstanding experience. Nothing is too much trouble and all help is made with a cheery smile. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get away from the main tourist areas to enjoy a unique local experience. The wonderful sandy beaches are about 3 miles away, for which you will need the use of a car. The local town has two very good restaurants. There are three restaurants within walking...
