This is a fantastic apartment overlooking the Mediterranean. For us it was used as a weekend retreat so we could partake in the Fête du Citron, but we could have easily stayed longer. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to make it feel like a home. I loved waking up each morning, opening the sliding glass door, watching the sunrise over the sea, and listen to the waves as they washed against the shore. The location is ideal for walking around Menton, or relaxing on the beach. The farmers market(Marché des Halles) is practically next door. If you plan on eating in, this is where I would recommend buying your produce from. Catherine's hospitality is above reproach. Prior to our arrival she saw to it that we had the contact information for a driver to get us too and from the property and airport. Upon our arrival she gave us a laundry list of places to visit, things to see, and restaurants to eat at. We did our best to fit it all in, but might have to make a trip back next year to check the rest of the boxes.
The building itself is very secure with a gate and a coded entry. I believe we pretty much had the top floor to ourselves, so it was mostly quiet(we were able to hear muffled voices and a baby crying-not enough to be a disturbance though), but I could envision the sound traveling if there had been people in the neighboring units. There were three of us which allotted us enough room to spread out and have our own space. The apartment sleeps five, but you might feel a tad crowded with that many people there.
All in all the trip was incredible thanks to a quaint apartment, wonderful hostess, and beautiful seaside village to explore.
