Just back from our family stay, and it was perfectly wonderful. The highlight was sitting together at breakfast to a back drop of lake Como - what more can you ask. Recommend the little wine bar just 100m down the road - beautiful hosts and thank you for looking after us

Be prepared to hire a car. The area was built long before cars existed and driving and parking are a challenge. Our hotel had parking, chargeable. The ferry to Bellagio is a 2 hour trip each way and seating was full when we boarded.
