(880 reviews) Hotel Victoria is an excellent choice if location is your priority. It is only a 3-minute walk from the station, which is a big plus, especially when travelling with heavy luggage. Its proximity to the city centre and key attractions made getting around incredibly convenient. Our room was a triple economy room, accommodating 2 adults and a 10-year-old child. The room itself was on the small side but well kept and perfectly adequate for a short stay. The bathroom was very small; however, somewhat surprisingly, it offered one of the best shower experiences we’ve had. The hotel is on the more expensive side for this time of year, but overall the stay was comfortable. We stayed on the 5th floor, which was not a problem for us, though it could be challenging for guests who are overweight, carrying very heavy luggage, or older, as access may require some effort. Breakfast was standard for a 3-star hotel — nothing fancy, but good enough and met our needs for the day. Based on our experience, the recent negative reviews are not justified and did not reflect the quality of our stay. Overall, a solid hotel with an excellent location, comfortable accommodation, and a decent breakfast, as long as you’re aware of the room size and access considerations.
