"I've stayed here for almost 40 years. But this was the first time I was this disappointed in the room. Stayed in the Lahaina tower. Beautiful view but the bathroom had the light equivalent of a 20 watt bulb. It was like doing your hair and makeup with candlelight. We had a handicap designated room, which we did not request. The entire shower and toilet area flooded everytime you showered because it was all one space and wheelchair accessible. A bath matt was useless and you risked your life every time you shower to get out of the tiled floor without slipping. The water pressure was basically a drizzle. I don't think I successfully removed all the soap from my body all week. The closet space was non existent. One small shirt length space with 8 hangers. No place to hang a dress or long skirt. I do recommend the cabana rental. It's an amazing relaxing way to spend the day by the water but completely protected from the sun. The service there is wonderful. They bring you pitchers of ice water all day and fresh pineapple. Plus you can get beverage and food service from the pool restaurant. The big price increase was unfortunate. It's been $250 a day for a long time but the week we arrived it was bumped up to $325!"

"Outstanding position and grounds. Be advised, the property does not have any back up power, so we were in the dark for the first 2 nights of our 6 night stay. No accommodation other than coffee and cookies was provided by management."
