Traditional country houses originally built in 1878, but beautifully modernised and rented all together for privacy. Ideal for groups who wish to have their own space, but with room to all holiday together! There is a large private pool 16M x 6M with a stunning vista. This property has amazing views of the Apuane marble mountains, and a spectacular view of the valley. Set in peaceful countryside, with meadows and woodland, yet within walking distance of a restaurant! There is one large farmhouse, split into three 2 bedroom apartments, and a romantic little barn standing independently 50 metres away. There is a large private swimming pool overlooking the mountains. This property is well maintained, and regularly updated. There is a real feel of traditional Tuscany mixed with modern conveniences, and each individual apartment has its own outdoor eating area in the garden overlooking the valley. The location is equidistant from the towns of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, and Gallicano, both of which are under a 15-minute drive away, and both of which have shops, bars, restaurants, weekly market and a train station for easy exploring. There is also a hypermarket in Gallicano which is 20 minutes from the house. The beautiful town of Barga with its cathedral, art, regular outdoor music and evening markets is also renowned for its restaurants and is only a 20-minute drive. Lucca – the walled mediaeval city is a 45 minute drive. Cycle the walls, meander the cobbled streets, relax in the Piazzas or listen to opera or concerts from renowned acts.
